MAIN BODY MAIN BODY In this era where it seems that gender including men and women possess their equalrights and duties towards personal, professional and society. But then also it is very commonlywitnessed in each part of world that women are still fighting for their rights, positions andrespect (International Women’s Day: Reminder women must keep fighting —everywhere, 2018).International Women Day, in this context, is one of the most widely accepted event at globallevel that is been celebrated on 8th March every year. However, in some countries like Canada, itis been brutally ignore.There were many movements initiated by women across the globe which led to socialreforms and marches such as #MeToo and #TimesUp. These movement reflects the criticism ofall kinds of sexual harassment and femicide in respect to equal pay and political representation ofwomen across globe (International Women’s Day: Reminder women must keep fighting—everywhere, 2018). There is very high rate of femicide within Latin America which alsoinclude the gender-based killing of women from their social movement #NiUnaMasFigure 1: Women in South Korea march on March 4, 20181
