The results of the debate on protecting the rock landform are suggesting that rock
landform should be protected for so many reasons. Although, there are many viewpoints of
different people for fully appreciating as well as understanding such complex issue yet for
maintaining and enhancing the landscape quality of Niagara Escarpment natural areas.
Moreover, the rock landform should be protected for maintaining the most natural
Escarpment features, wetlands, stream valleys (Niagara Foundation, 2019). Besides, the
protection and production of aggregates from globally recognized landform for an urban
expansion will positively impact the significant natural areas and their associated cultural
heritage features as well. On the other hand, the reasons why protection or producing the rock
landform is required to be done include preserving earth’s natural creatures and encouraging
compatible recreations. In addition to that, protecting rock landforms is also required for
encouraging conservation and educational activities within the society (Niagara Foundation,
2019). Apart from this, in order to maintain as well as enhance the rock landform quality of
Niagara Escarpment features. Here, one should protect rock landforms in order to effectively
protect unique historic and ecologic areas. In this way, protecting these landforms will
maintain as well as enhance the character and quality of water supplies and natural streams.
Moreover, protecting Niagara rock formation will further offer enough opportunities for
future outdoor recreations.
In this way, protection should be done in order to provide adequate public access to
the Niagara Escarpment while considering viewpoints of members of the Niagara Escarpment
Commission (Niagara Foundation, 2019).
