The three most relevant sustainable goals of Gillette are as follows – The maintenance of the environmental pollution and to reduce the use of plastic in the matter is also maintained to make sure that the factors of sustainability are addressed in the proper manner. According to Therivel (2013) Gillette tries to maintain the sustainability of the company in the major sense as it tries to reduce the plastic use in the packaging and also to invent more recyclable and reusable blades and razors in the prolonged time span (Dell’Acqua, 2012). The company has been one of the greatest contributors in reducing the use of plastic in the manufacturing of the razors and the coating which has affected the environment in a positive light. Therefore the sustainability goal of environment sustainability has been maintained by the company.
8 ETHICS FOR MANAGERS The dumping of the waste products that has been left after the manufacturing has been done by the company is to be disposed of in a safe manner and which does not create pollution to the environment and is not dumped into the ocean under any means.
