a. Introduction
The essay will be based on the analysis of the effects of government regulations on
different social media organizations like, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. The regulations
that are developed and implemented by the government and their possible impact on the firms
will be analysed in the essay.
Body P1
The advertisements which are provided on Facebook are able to reach the 2 billion
users which the organization has in the industry. Facebook is able to generate leads that are
related to ecommerce based operations. Instagram has a base of 500 million active users and
the engagement rates of audience are also quite high. The organization is able to gain much
more revenues from advertisements as compared to that which is gained by Facebook.
Twitter has been able to provide effective levels of connectivity to the users based on the
mainstream influencers and the niche influencers as well (Miller & Skinner, 2015). The
organization is able to gain huge amounts of revenues with the help of organic engagement.
Facebook has faced major issues in the year 2018 related to the crisis based on data
abuse scandal. The Cambridge Analytica scandal had taken place recently which was able to
affect the personal data of the customers. The scandal was mainly based on the allegations
which have been made against Facebook based on the ways by which the company had used
the data of customers in wrong way for its personal benefits (Kim, Park & Rho, 2015).
The government of countries like India have started developing guidelines which will
be able to bind the companies like, WhatsApp, YouTube, Twitter and Facebook. The new
guidelines that have been set by the government under Section 79 of Information Technology
Act require the organizations to provide their response to the complaints from different

government based entities, courts and the general public as well. The move is thereby
promoted with the help of view of the government with respect to the slow response which is
provided to the complaints as well. The regulations are further based on the false news and
rumours that are spread through the usage of different social media based platforms
(Piotroski, Wong & Zhang, 2015).
The regulations that have been developed by the government have been able to affect
the operations of the social media firms in a huge manner. The Cyber laws have led to
changes in the policies which have been developed by the organizations. The social media
firms have started operating in a more organized manner after the implementation of different
regulations in their operations (Plotke, 2018).
Conclusion
The analysis can be concluded by stating that the social media based firms need to
develop their operations in such a manner so that they are able to comply with the regulations
developed by the government. The organizations need to the manage the operations in order
maintain the sustainability in different countries. The effects of social media is quite high on
the customer base.
b. Introduction
The essay will be based on the analysis of the effects of the approach which has been
taken by Trump on the economic policies that have been developed by the countries like
China and the United Kingdom. The effect on the policies of Trump on the global business
based environment is the most important of the analysis which will be made in the essay.
