INTRODUCTIONEvents are held to communicate certain information, messages, ideas to target people. Itis organised through proper planning, strategies and consists if various procedures (Anantharamand et. al., 2015)There are several countries in the world who are engaged in hosting &organising events on a regular basis. They may be small private events companies, medium orlarge-scale global events businesses. There are many small scale event business concerns thanlarge ones in the society. Global events has an impact on community, economy, tourism andother factors of the social group. Event management refers to organisations that executes theirtasks only at the places where they earn large amount of profits. These firms get payment for theservices offered by them in the environment. In this study, the diversity of global events,elements that encourage their development globally, roles of this business commercials, effect ofthese events in their operating environment and the strategies that support these events has beendiscussed.TASK 1P1 Examining the diverseness of global events industry with structure & organisation and rolesof various types of events in societyEvery event is organised with particular objectives. It may be to serve an exchange ofdata, update the participants with recent changes. Some of them are driven by profit and rest areheld for the welfare of human being (Bobrov and et. al., 2016). Events can be classified intovarious types according to goals and profits. They are provided as under-Various types of events:-a)By size-Local/ Community events- It is any kind of planned gathering for social prosperity orwell-being which includes 50 or more individuals or it may be any sized event that blocks rightto public property. Planned marches and demonstrations are examples if this type.Major events-They are carried on to bring important economic benefits in the cities,countries and various regions. Many private sector businessmen participates in these events tobring out economic development in the area. For instance, sports, cultural festivals, east coastmusic awards are major ones.1

Hallmark events- It functions to provide the community an opportunity to earn in thetourism market area (Claar and et. al., 2018). Major fairs, cultural as well as sporting event ofinternational position and expositions comes under hallmark tourists events.Mega events- These are the events which are larger than the general events. They are ofdifferent dimensions. It may include sporting events that are one time events on an internationallevel. It covers high media and influence tourism, infrastructure and economy of the organisingcountry. Olympics are regarded as mega events.b)By Form-Cultural events- These events relate to particular culture and represent music, art andother things of that culture. Examples of this events consists of Wight literary festival, Foweyfestival, Leicester literary festival, etc.Sports events- They are organised to promote sports in the world and develop the skillsand relations among the participants (Cohn, 2016). It includes different sports and participantsfrom across geographical locations. Sports events are held for multiple days. Olympics is the bestexample of this type of event.Business events- It refers to significant happenings in which several parts of businessesmust participate to work on several applications to grow and develop in the market. For exampleit includes Seminars, conferences, trade shows, product launch events, etc.Structure and components of event industry- Event management companies- These are the firms which provides best tips formanaging the events. They use the organisational and business management skills in visualizing,planning and implementing different types of events. Events industry- It alludes one person or several planners and large firms which comestogether with common passion of organising and managing the events. The performers in thisindustry are event management consultants, corporations, news media, NGOs, advertisingagencies, etc.Suppliers- They are the supply chain of event management firms and assists them inachieving the targets and success in the events. Suppliers are also termed as event vendors andsells the services in or after the events.Industry associations- They are the groups or an organisation which provides support tothe industry and the members to defend their rights as well as perform their activities efficiently2
