INTRODUCTION
Overview
Globalisation refers to the process of spreading of technology, information, products and
jobs across the countries. It becomes high with the increase in communication, transportation and
technologies. International business consist of all those commercial activities which take place
with the purpose of promoting the transfer of goods, people, ideas, resources, services,
technologies etc. among two or more countries. For the purpose of gaining or achieving success,
every business wants to expand their business globally by taking the help of globalisation which
remove inelastic implications. Globalisation make focus on both growth as well as expansion of
business as it helps the business in the removal of barriers of trade, because of this, it become
more easy to do the flow of funds through which market prominence can be achieved easily.
Aston Martin has been selected for the purpose of examining the effect of globalisation on both
growth as well as the expansion of business.
Background of the Company
Aston Martin is a British independent company, doing manufacturing of luxury sports car
having headquarter in Gaydon, United Kingdom and doing their business globally. In 1913, it
was founded in London, United Kingdom by Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford. Only because
of globalisation, they are doing their business in a leading way by dealing with the complexities
of marketing in a good manner. For gaining higher market size and achieving goof position in
global market, Aston Martin wants to expand their business. Because of various policies of
globalisation, Aston Martin is getting a lots of opportunities so that they can make a good
position in new market and market share as well. In the same organisation, I have been appointed
as Senior Strategist in the organisation. The reason behind the selecting this organisation is that,
they are facing various problems in international market while doing operations globally.
