INTRODUCTION
In present time, event can be defined as something, which takes place at a particular place
based on the requirements of an individual or group. Basically, event can be considered as one of
the crucial mechanism that aid in building up the interactions among elements of a particular
document and some events related to the system and user's actions. Along with this, if it is talked
about global events, then these are said to be phenomenon that takes place where number of
countries stays involved in it (Billings, 2018).
On the other hand, organisation that has been taken into consideration i.e. London’s
ExCeL Exhibition Centre, which has been one of the famous event organisation, who operates at
international level. Company has successfully hosted the Olympics Venue 2012, and from then
and now firm has kept its focus on further recommendations improvements so that it could gain
success. Away with this, the assignment is basically divided among two different parts, where
one will be the report and other one will be presentation. Including this, report will be enclosed
with diversity of the global events, key factors that influence development of event industry,
various management strategies to support global events and so on.

1. Diversity of the global event industry and place of different types of events
In modern era, nations in all over the world consists with different festivals and
ceremonies, that are linked with sports, culture and values followed by them. In present context,
if it is talked about the diversity of various global events within the industry, then there are ample
number of examples that are available like Olympics, Wakakusa Yamayaki, Sundance Film
Festival (USA), Carnivale Di Venezia (Italy) and more that takes place every year. Basically,
events are being defined based on size and these are comprehended underneath:
Local or community events: These are said to be the events, that basically hosted at
regional level considering various factors like political, educational nature, public and so on.
There are a number of examples, that can be given like get together of a group on Christmas Eve,
done at a place (holy or heritage place) can be considered as community event (Burson and
Wright, 2015).
