INTRODUCTION
• Global events can be defined as those events who have
global reach. In this large number of audiences are being
involved like for example Wimbledon, FIFA. Present report
will lay emphasis on Olympics 2012 that was hosted in
London.
• Report will also lay focus on the global events industry
including its structure and organization and the role of
different types of events in society. It will also lay
emphasis on the positive and negative impact of macro
environment factor on industry.

• Political factor- The various laws, rules and regulations also affect
the event industry. It can impact both in positive and negative way:
• Positive- Government is involve in making the rules and laws which
supports event industry. Like for example United Kingdom
government has allowed fee trade for the organizers of events.
• Negative impact- When events grow it can also hamper the political
environment. Like for example there might occur situation where
the clashes between the communities can exist.

• Strength: One of the major strength of Olympics 2012 was that
the top sportsmen has participated in it. This has increased liking
of event. More number of travelers has arrived to watch the show.

attended the event has made it a huge success.
• The platform has also provided athletes an opportunity to show
their talent in front of world. It has made them famous across
globe. In this event the players have participated from all over
the world in order to show their talent.

CONCLUSION
• From the above study it has been summarized that various events took
place both national and international level. There are various factors that
has affected the growth of global events.
• Events like Olympics has improved the infrastructure facilities and living
standard of people of destination in which the event has taken place. It
has also created employment opportunities for large number of people.
• Global event has also make use of corporate social responsibility in which
they make sure that no cultural aspects of participants are being hurt by
them. This has increased the liking of event organized by sponsors
