Global events are those events that has been carried on international
platform and has been managed or monitored by professionals. It is
mainly focused on developing conferences and exhibitions by
working with top class organizer so as to make sure that valuable
information is being shared about events on large scale. Also
organizing of global events various organizers are required that are
gained through strategic partnership in order to make sure that an
event has been conducted in successful manner

Positive and negative impact of global events

Positive impact: Different types of events are organised at global level
which has impact on the locations where they are organised. The
events when organised have positive impact as due to the events the
place become famous which attracts a lot of people to the place.
This helps in generating various job opportunities.

negative impact also. Sue to such impact many time the events are
not organised in various economies. Foe example: Due to cricket
matches and Olympics a large number of people visit to the country
where the event has been organised.

The most crucial political factors that has been affecting the global
event industry today is increasing pressure to reduce the green
house emission. For this various regulations and policies has been
imposed by the government. Such regulations impact the events
industries when they organise any exhibitions, concerts etc.

Economic factors
These factors are associated with the interest rates, inflation etc. In UK
the event companies has been facing the pressure of reducing their
cost related to decoration, other supportive activities and many
more. Due to recession, the availability of the cash is not much in
the hands of the businesses which is why they have to compromise
with various activities.

Social factors
These factors are associated with the taste and preference,
demographics of the customers. To meet up with this the global
events industry has to bring so many changes in their services. For
example: In Olympics, the event organisers have to promote the
businesses and the clients which helps the event companies to
establish better relations with the sponsors.

Technological factors
The technological factors helps the industry to understand the impact
of changes in the technology. In Event industry at global level this
factors has major influences. For example : Any technology used by
the event manager in the conferences such as effective
communication, visual displays pressurised other to implement the
same.

Legal factors
They are the factors which affects the business operations due to
implication of the law. Various laws are imposed by the judicial
system of the country which affect the operations. For example :
license need to be obtained by the organisers and their media
partners for the screening of the cricket match. To comply with such
regulations various guidelines has been provided with the help of
which they can fulfil the requirement. But this affects the
organisational behaviour as they have to modify their policies.

Ecological factors
From the perspective of the environment the event managers have to
consider various implications both at national and international
level. Laws have been imposed by the government to reduce the
emission of the carbon and the waste generated due to the events. In
sports events such as cricket a numbers of people visit which
increase the use of the resources of the place and increases the
waste.

Recommendations for improvements
On the basis of the analysis of the entire global industry various
recommendations are to be made for a specific event which will
help them to make the event a success. As per the analysis of macro
factors it is identified that while conducting any live concert the
organisers have to reduce the use of the machineries which emit
carbon, proper waste management has to be done .

organisers in a large amount as more of people attend the event even
if the prices of the tickets are high. Also this make the place
popular along with that through events the culture can easily be
promoted.

Critical evaluation of the criteria for successful
events
On the basis of the analysis of the internal and external environment it
is analysed that to make an event successful the planning has to be
proper. While planning of the event the organisers should consider
all the factors such as implication of the laws, waste management,
reduced emission of the carbon, exploitation of the resources etc.
also it will facilitate them to forecast the budget requirement on the
basis of the analysis.

Conclusion
From the PPT it can be concluded that Event industry are developed
and diversified on the basis of various factors such as their size,
form and types. Moreover, PESTLE and SWOT analysis also helps
the industry and the manager to analyse their goals on the internal
and external basis. This results it is easy for organisation to perform
their work as per the strategies, policies and techniques due to
which better performance will be achieved by the organisation in
minimum time period.
