INTRODUCTION
The global events may be defined as those events which are of limited duration and have
a global reach. These events directly impact on the economy of the country. In order to organize
a global event, different types of aspects have to be taken into consideration by the organisation
(Blood and et. al., 2019). The main purpose of developing these events is to attract more and
more audience all across the globe. Cricket world cup, Olympics, FIFA, Common wealth games
and many more are some of the example of the global events. The following report is based on
Common Wealth Games which was held in India in 2010. This global event contributes lots of in
the economical development of the country. Different types of opportunities has been developed
for the public and for the sports person by these global events. These events plays a very
important role in developing economic development of the country as these events carry image
of the nation and develop growth aspects of the economy. The following report is going to
discussed about the diversity of the global events industry with its structure and types of events
with in the society. This report also explain the different factor which influence the local as well
as global event. Afterwords this report produce an evaluation which shows the impact of global
events within the environment in which operate. In the end a discussion has been done on the
specific management strategies to develop this event.

with its types :-
There are various types of global events and these events is being considered as an most
growing industry in the competitive market. These global events comprises of diversifying range
of events that are executed into the local as well as global market. Different types of events with
its structure has been discussed below :-
Hall mark events: these events are those kind of events which are held either one one time or
regular basis. The main function of these Hall mark events is to develop and provide different
types of opportunities for the host country in order to secure the prominence in the market
(Mboka and et. al., 2021). Hall Mark events are helpful in making fairs, exposition, sports
events and cultural events that are basically develop at international level. With the help of these
events awareness, profitability and many more has been spread within the tourism sector. These

events basically have extensive media coverage both at national and international level and
generate social, economical and cultural benefits for the region. The most famous examples of
the Hall Mark events are Groovin' the Moo and the Australia vs England Netball Test Match.
 Structure of the events :- the structure of the events is very useful for organising and
execution of the plans. Events are basically staged and hosted by different types of event
organisations which is very useful for the success criteria of the project(Rahmani and
McNamara, 2020). Hall Mark events are basically developed by event management
firms, as they comprises of skilful and professional group of people to make on the behalf
of their clients.

to attract large amount of audience. For example like Groovin' the Moo event was
organised by Cattleyard Promotions.

Mega events :- these events are basically those types of events which are organised at a very
large level and attract large base of audience all across the globe. The development of these
mega events with in the nation help in their growth and development. These events provide
systematic growth to the nation. These large scale events are organized by a special authority and
comprises of large number of investor, sponsors, nations, customers and many more. These
events are organised through bidding among the various nation. Olympic Games, Common
Wealth Games are some of the example of the mega events.
 Structure :-these events are basically organised at the international level and these
events are totally related to the event industries supplier. With the use of these events
large and very complex industry have been make which give led to wide range of
supplier(Shaldybin and Kondrashova, 2019). This is used to make strong integral part of
the industry.
 How these events are organised :- mega events are organised through competitive
bidding among the different nations and these events are basically organised by event
industry. For example like Common Wealth Games which is organised by India in 2010.
