INTRODUCTION
Global events are defined as an event of limited duration which is placed by organisation
at a global reach it require significant public interest and investment. Global event relates with
population and environment of a country that determine the applicability for completion of a
specific event. Trade, public, private and concerts are different types of events that are hosted
and managed by event organisation. This report is written from perspective of Exhibition Centre
London that is an international convention centre which is situated in Newham, East London.
Further, this report highlights on the diversity of global events industry, including their structure
and how it organised within society (Abiodun and Abatan, 2013). Different factors that influence
for development of event industry on both local as well as international level. Evaluation of
different activities that demonstrate value, impact and legacy of global events with review of
management strategies for supporting the responsible event development.

The term diversity is relevant with the meetings and events industry that is included for a
number of reason and reflects on formulation of different event strategies. Society and event
audience become more diverse, ethnic and gender as it relates with type of events. London Excel
Exhibition centre organise different types of events including games, trade fair, private and
public events etc. In the year 2018, size of global industry is valued at £894.74 and as per present

scenario, it is expanding with 10.3%. Some diversity aspects from the perspective of global
industry are discuss as below:

global level and there are various events are managed for the sections and functions
related with pool of speakers, facilitators and selectors to perform individual task with
more efficiency and effectiveness (Alnasser and et. al., 2015). With tapping into multi-
culture networks among organisation this is identified that each culture is different so by
understanding events this is easy to manage all work in an organised manner.
 Behaviour based approach- Similarity plays an important role for organisation and it

Their are different roles played by event within a society that is used to raise or improve
the standards of individuals (Su and et. al., 2013). On the other side, when a nation become
financially stable that it work as a positive approach for business and individuals. By examine
role of event industry it is identified that change in event lead person to match with desire
outcomes. It also help individuals to complete their work with decided time frame.
With the formulation of sustainable plans an event organisation undertakes the potential
value, preferences and concepts which is used for generating the significant value among
company stakeholders that benefit society. It also reduce the probability for controlling error and
wastage. Example, in the year 2016 RIO organising committee formulate a sustainable
development plan which create a sustainable logo that helps to gain the attention of huge
individual. It also help person to distribute about different perspective that leads management to
complete their work as per basis. In the present scenario, there are different factors relates with

In the last, with analyse of above report it is concluded that event planning attracts a large
number of individuals to perform and carry work at a large platform that leads organisation to
conduct an international event. Large number of resources is required by the event organiser for
completing work at a global level and it is also helps organisation to gain sustainable image.
With use of different tools and techniques like, digital media is utilised by management for

generating awareness about event. Further, global industry is also used to update about
technology aspects for making an event more successful.
