1. Organisation readiness to implement the ISO 26000 guidelines
ISO 26000 was developed by 500 experts which is a working group. At the time of
publication the working group was disbanded and now known as post publication organisation
ISO 26000. ISO produce some documents for the organisations in order to implement the ISO
26000.

Communication protocol describe the relevant things which can be used by the Wal-Mart firm
effectively.
 ISO 26000 basic training materials in the form of a power point and protocol of training
guidance (Bobby Banerjee, 2014).
 Those that link ISO 26000 with the OECD guidelines for multinational enterprises and
the UN Agenda 2030 (Sustainable Development Goals).
 Those for the Systematic Review of ISO 26000, due to begin 15 January 2017.
 The seven key underlying principles of social responsibility: accountability, transparency,
ethical behaviour, respect for stakeholder interests, respect for the rule of law, respect for
international norms of behaviour, and respect for human rights
 Recognizing social responsibility and engaging stakeholders
 The seven core subjects and issues pertaining to social responsibility: organizational
governance, human rights, lobar practices, the environment, fair operating practices,
consumer issues, and community involvement and development
 Ways to integrate socially responsible behaviour into the organization
Thus, the Wal-mart firm which is retail firm in America and operates grocery and local
shops effectively. Such guidelines are useful for the firm in order to manage the readiness and
implementation of ISO 26000 (Hahn and Weidtmann, 2016). There are some certain strategies
such as profitability and production. This will help them to manage their profits and resources
effectively.
For an example, Wal-mart can adopt profitability strategies with ISO 26000 guidelines
which will help to improve the profits and production for the firm.
