Abstract
The advancement in technology has led to globalization which has in turn improves the living
standards of individuals. The growth in technology particularly the advent of the Internet,
microprocessors and telecommunications has allowed the distribution of information.
Technology has globalized products generation and markets. This paper discus how the past
and present changes in technology, its contribution and impact on globalization and how it
has improved to globalize the world economy.

Introduction
Over the recent past, technology has been have experienced an outburst out that has
resulted in improvements of individuals live to a more convenient lifestyle. Indeed, the
progression in technology has enhanced globalization. The advancement in the Internet,
microprocessors as well as transport and telecommunication has allowed the dissemination of
information out of globalization. According to Bozyk (2019), globalization has two primary
aspects: the globalization of products and the globalization of markets. In simple terms, the
transformation in technology has led to impacts on the globalization of the production
process and globalization of markets (Torres, 2015). The extensive use of
telecommunications and microprocessors has scaled up the amount of information transfer at
a reduced cost. Certainly, this is significantly supportive in merging of markets. For that
reason, technology has dramatically transformed a people’s lifestyle across the globe, which
is a true exhibition of the world as a global village (Jorgenson & Vu, 2016). While in the past
information could take ages to reach the desired destination, currently, it is just by a click of a
button and the information is delivered to the destination. In this sense, this paper provides a
