INTRODUCTION
Resource management is the process in which business manage their valuable resource
effectively. There are two type of resources that coved by the organization. firstly, tangible
resources like companies equipments, finance and material and tangible resources like People
and time.
This report will cover case study of Sainsbury which is the second largest supermarket
chin in the United Kingdom with the total shares around 16 percent. In year 1969 this company
became the largest retailer organization in grocery segment but in year 1995, TESCO overtake
them and shift the position of Sainsbury from the 1 to second.
This report will discuss the three topic organizational structure culture and the methods
of communication can influence on the success of the Sainsbury. Organization structure which
is an system that outlines how activities within the workplace of the Sainsbury should be
directed in order to achieve organizational objectives and their goals. This report will analyse the
organizational culture by including the models of the culture to identity impact of the culture on
the Sainsbury and how effective culture can help company to take competitive advantages
within the market where they are operating their business. In the end this report will discuss the
organizational communication, which is important for every organization to have proper flow of
communication within their organization to be successful. It will conclude the methods of
communication tat can be used at the workplace to share useful information within the business.

Organizational structure
Organizational structure refers to the system that is helpful fort the organization to outline
and designs the activities and Crete level to flow information from the higher to lower
department. There are some activities that include rules, responsibility and the roles (Amankwah-
Amoah., 2020). Having a proper and accurate organizational structure can be useful for the
Sainsbury to improve their performance within the business, it will increase the proper flow of
information within the organization. Their are various organizational structure like functional,
demographic and matrix etc. All are having different rule and way of designing the activities-
Functional structure-The functional structure is the most common organizational
structure that companies mostly use to run their function effectively. In this structure business
uses the grouping employees by their speciality in the work, roles and their responsibility. It is
