The global scenario of work society is changing dynamically. The pervasion of
technology and bloom of new job market has brought its own consequences.
Reflection of which is directly in effect or will be in the future. The core
fundamentals of the job culture is focusing on an individual’s capacity to
continuously adapt and learn from its environment. The expectation of employers
from their employees and vice versa is altering. Up until recently, credentials
where the primary criteria for the job, now however, there is a rising trend of micro
credentials (Crow 2016). Micro credentials or nano degrees which may or may not
cover a broad concept, but aims to equip a person with skill and understanding that
has a reflection on the work. Micro credentials is filtering the workplace, and
altering the structural framework of work environment globally. This topic reflects
on the different constraints and possibilities of micro credentials. To illustrate
with an example, eBay the ecommerce website faces about 16
million disputes each year, however the cases are resolved
without any involvement of a traditional lawyer. Instead, through
a more simplistic method known as the e-mediation that resolves
hundreds of issues each day through customer interaction. Thus,
