INTRODUCTION
Tourism indicates to all the activities and actions of the people travelling to and staying
in places outside their usual environment for leisure, business and other motives for not than one
consecutive year. Global tourism, refers to that kind of travelling which are chosen by the people
and individuals to enjoy the travelling of crosses national borders (Bærenholdt, Haldrup and
Urry, 2017). In this kind of tourism people visit and travel one place to another for their different
purposes like some individual for visiting the place, and saw the historical places, students for
their educational work and research work and other persons for their their different reasons. This
assignment will discuss about the global tourism and negative impacts that tourism can have in
different countries. Further, will explain about the tourism situation analysis and an overview of
tourism in a specific nation. Apart form it, report will focus on visitor market, tourism products,
supply and demand, tourist characteristics, tourist experiences and tourism trends.

Negative impacts that tourism can have different countries
Tourism is a social, cultural and economic phenomenon which entails the movement of
individuals to nations or places outside their usual environment for personal or business motives.
When people are visit and travel to different countries then it is know as global and international
tourism. During the time of travelling and visiting a new place, there are different kind of
experience which is gain by the people like positive and negative. The reason of this favourable
and unfavourable experience is the positive and negative impact of the tourism. The size of
unfavourable effects on tourism in different manners in different countries and causes of its are
briefly defined as under:
Pollution- It is the main negative things which can be occur due to global tourism. Tourism can
cause the same forms of pollution as any other sector like air emissions, noise, solid waste and
littering releases of sewage, oil and chemicals and others. Due to it different kind of pollution
generate in different nations.

When people are travel one place to another place they transport by air, road and rail
which is the major reason to increase the pollution. For example, America, UK, China and others
are some nations where tourism is the reason of creating pollution (Buzinde, 2018). In UK, there
are number of people come here to visit different place and enjoying them. Terrific Scenery,
Great British Pub, Greta world class festivals and events and others are the reason of tourism.
For this people use the transportation by Air and it create and increase the level of air pollution in
this nation. In UK,Tourist are come here to enjoy the motors running and different other
activities which is another reason to generate the pollution.
Noise pollution from air-planes, cars, taxies, buses as well as recreational vehicles like
snowmobiles and jet skis also make their contribution in increasing noise pollution. In 2000,
76,271 individuals entered Yellowstone National Park on snowmobiles, outnumbering the
40,727 travellers who came in cars, 10,779 in slowcoaches and 512 on skis. This create negative
impact on the environment of US in term of increasing noise pollution (Carr, Ruhanen and
Whitford, 2016). Another reason of pollution is solid waste and littering. In Mountain areas,
trekking tourist generate a great deal of waste. Visitors on expedition leave behind their garbage,
oxygen cylinders and camping instruments also. These kind of material and thing degrade the
environment in term of creating pollution. Construction of hotels, recreation and other activities
often leads to maximized sewage pollution. Waste water has contaminated seas and lakes which
are enclosed tourist attractiveness and places, destructive the flora and funna.
These all things can be the reason of generating pollution due to tourism. In peak time of
tourism like winters, festivals time people highly visit different countries. Transportation of
international tourists in now carried out by planes which annually consume a huge amount of
kerosene which pollute the nations in terms of smoke. Apart form it, the utilisation of vehicles
which use gasoline and also create same impact. In UK and US, the usage of transportation
during tourism season then the level of pollution is also maximised which create unfavourable
impact in different term like air, noise, sewage and others. These kind of pollution affect local
people, visitors and others in negative manner in term of influencing their daily life, business,
illness and others. Due to air pollution natural resources like greenery, birds, animals are also
affect which is a great negative influence of pollution because it negatively affect the nature.
Noise pollution create its unfavourable impact upon the local people's health in term of disease
related to ear etc.
