INTRODUCTION
Global warming can be defining as the rise huge increase in the temperature of earth. It is
because of the human interference on system of earth. The global warming has huge impact on
the lives of people as well as animals. Report will highlight the impact of global warming on the
animal population of Antarctica.
MAIN BODY
Impact of Global warming on the animal population of Antarctica.
The polar regions are warming faster and experiencing more dramatic changes than anywhere on
the planet. The global warming has led to deterioration in species. They are directly giving harms
to the lives of animals which are living in polar region like Antarctica. The melting of glaciers is
making the species living in polar region extinct. This can be because of the reason of increasing
pollution. Humans are engaged in burning fossil fuels which has created a lot of pollution
impacting the lives of species which are living in polar region. There are various species which
has been endangered because of the increase in Global warming. These includes Adélie
Penguins, Chinstrap Penguins, Leopard Seals, Elephant Seals, Snow Petrels, King Penguins. The
future generation will not be able to see these species as they have become extinct and
endangered (Harvey, 2018). Many species has also migrated from the polar region like
Antarctica. This is because of the rapid climate change and human interference in natural
process. The impact of Global warming is so severe that even glaciers are melting. It has been
analysed that there is a significant detrition in the health condition of polar beer which are living
in Antarctica. This is because the climate change has reduced the availability of food (Hughes
and et.al., 2017).
There is also reduction in availability of water which has made the health condition of
animals living in Antarctica worst. The rising level of sea has also destroyed animal life in Polar
region. Many animals have died because of it. They even have the scarcity of food. It has also
been analysed that because of Global warming and climate change has also made animal face the
various health problems. Birds and animals living in Polar region like Antarctica have been
extinct and endangered. It has been analysed that because of the green house effect a quarter of
animals and birds have become extinct. If this will continue then soon all animals living in polar
region such as Antarctica will be extinct (McGlade and Ekins, 2015). Future generation will not
be able to see them. It is a very serious concern. It is because of the human interference in nature.

They have destroyed most of the life habitat like animals because of it. Many species have
extinct because of climate change.
CONCLUSION
From the above study it has been summarised that because of global warming and greenhouse
effect there has been a severe impact on the life of animals living in Antarctica. They hav
become extinct and endangered.
