INTRODUCTION
Globalization refer to the process of operating business and services of a company at
international level. It is a term which is used to define maximizing social, economic and political
interaction and interrelation beyond political and cultural boundaries (Jani and Dholakia, 2015).
The major elements of globalization is; the influence of movement patterns, the acceptability and
transparency of information, the spread of information and others. Globalization is important
because it help in providing benefits of more international trade, higher standard of loving and
others. It is beneficial of the economic development for the nations and organisations by
importing and exporting goods and services.
MAIN BODY
Meaning of globalization- It indicates to a process by which the organisations can make free
movement of goods, services and people all over the world in an coordinated manner (Mallick,
2015). In simple words, Globalization is the coordination of national economies through trade,
labour migration, investment, capital flow and technology etc.
Causes of globalization- There are various reasons and causes to occurred globalization like,
improved transport is the main cause of occurring internationalization (McDermott, Kitchener
and Exworthy, 2017). Containerisation, make improvement in technology, growth of
multinational organisations, minimize tariff barriers and making growth in the economy of the
nations are some causes due to which globalization pass off.
Types of Globalization- There are different types of it which are as following:
Economic- This is a type of globalization in which countries make trades with others and
have few trade barriers which are economically internationalised.
Social- It is an another type of globalization which measure that how easily ideas and
information pass among individuals in their own nations and others (Jani and Dholakia, 2015).
Political- It indicates to the development of the worldwide political system in size and
naivety (Jilani, 2019). Basically it refer to the process of expansion of the politics at global level.
Timeline on globalization
The concept of globalization came in to knowledge and the industrial revolution was the
breeding ground for globalization while others point at the period of European colonialism. It

started on 12th October 1492 when Columbus discovered America. But the first global healthcare
initiative was taking by healthcare sector in early 7th century Asia.
How globalization has evolved up until today
In current era, the process of globalization to be more effective because here are not
much political issues and others problems (Lim and Burgoon, 2018). Technology like advance
technology, transportation and other factor help in making easy and efficient to it.
Advantages of globalization
Freedom of trade- Globalization providing a benefits of free trade to the different
organisations of various nations (Dobovšek and Slak, 2017). Because there is not any charges
which are payable by the companies to operating their business at international level.
Improvement of transport- Globalization is beneficial to make improvement in the
transportation because when the nations do internationalization then they also focus on the
transport so that they can effectively run their business at international level with facing any
barrier related to it (Gionakis and Stylianidis, 2016).
Disadvantages of globalisation on economy and environment
Internationalization creating socio economic insecurity cause of rapid transitionary period
currently underway. Another negative impact on economy is that the mismatch between the
economic and financial system that have been designed to govern the global economic and
financial system (Gobbi, 2016). It create negative impact on environment because due to it the
competition is increase in the market and they used cheaper material to produce consumer goods
which affect environment in negative manner.
Meaning of globalization in health care- Globalization refer to the process of maximizing
transnational circulation of money, goods, ideas, people and information worldwide. Healthcare
is undergoing dramatic globalisation, this was primarily to access facilities and technologies
unavailable at home. It can be a process of offering health care services one nation to others
(Ancarani and et. al., 2017).
Impact of globalization on health care
Internationalization create negative and positive impact on health care services which are
as following:

Infectious diseases- It is the negative sides of globalization because it is the maximize in
emerging and emerging infectious disease (Myers and Twigg, 2017). For example Tuberculosis
and AIDS are some diseases whose main reason was globalization.
Agriculture advancement- It create positive impact on health care sector and provide various
growth and development options to health acre sector (Owusu and Yeboah, 2018). For example, ,
there are one fourth children of the world are suffering from malnutrition so agriculture
advancement can create positive impact on it by offering food products and services to import
and export them.
CONCLUSION
As per the above information it can be concluded that globalization playing an important
role in the growth and development in the economy of the nation as well as organisation. There
are various positive and negative impact are create by it on the economy and environment of the
nation and health care organisations.
