Concept of globalisation
Globalisation is usually referred to a process in which interaction and integration
among a number of different people, company, government and country stake worldwide. It
has been noticed that since 18th century advances have been brought in transportation and
communication technology (Milner, 2019). These advancements have led to globalisation and
increase in global interaction which has also caused growth in exchange of ideas, culture and
trade internationally. Globalisation can also be considered as an economic process of
interaction and integration which is associated with different social and cultural aspects.
However there are a number of conflicts and diplomacy which are a part of history of
globalisation and also of modern globalisation. In economical term globalisation involves
services, goods, technology, data and different economic sources of capital. The expansion in
the global market is liberalising economic activities and exchange of goods as well as funds
between countries.
Benefits of globalisation
Globalization is effectively helping a number of different economies by bringing in
modernisation and infrastructural development for the countries. Globalisation make it easier
for assessing different foreign cultures and free flow of goods and arts along with information
of different cultures throughout the world. Globalisations have led to spread of technology
and innovations in a number of different countries (Perraton, 2019). Underdeveloped
countries are highly benefited by globalisation as technological advancement is also brought
into those countries. Globalisations have also led to increase the standards of living in people
throughout the globe. People can now access to new market and new talent as they can move
for business beyond their nations boundaries. Companies are now looking for places where
they can get the resources at cheap along with labour cost. Due to this they can easily produce
goods and services which are of lower cost. This has made it easy for people at every income
level to have an access to these goods and services.
