INTRODUCTION
The proposed topic is for research is globalisation, which can be defined as the process of
introducing items of an organisation on international level. It is a technique which is used to
expand business in more geographic locations. With the help of globalisation the world is getting
connected and exchanging cultures (Wright, 2016). The main purpose of it is, to enhance profits
and increase foreign direct investment for the purpose of business expansion. This research is
mainly based on the expansion of Grupo Intercom in UK which is a Spanish project incubator
which was created in year 2000. Now the organisation is willing to become global by introducing
its services in the market of UK.
Reasons behind the selection
This topic is selected due to various reasons. All of them are as follows:
The main purpose of selecting globalisation is to enhance knowledge about it and analyse
the factors that are required to be considered while expanding business.
This topic is selected to determine that globalisation may help to achieve long term
business goals such as profit maximisation or not.

Scope and limitations
The project is carrying wider information regarding globalisation which is beneficial for
the people who are looking to enhance their knowledge regarding it. This may help the observers

to get the exact and accurate content regarding the ways in which an organisation may expand its
business on global level. The readers of this research will be able to resolve all their queries
regarding globalization and its importance. It can guide the professionals as well as students who
are willing to enhance their knowledge regarding it. The researcher has conducted a detailed
research in order to accomplish all the goals and objectives that are formed on the earlier stage of
this project. It also have some limitations that are as follows:
The researcher have faced various challenges during the research activities because it is
not possible to get appropriate information easily.
It is very difficult to follow the ethical requirements while conducting a research so it was
also a limitation for the researcher because it was affecting the data collection process.
The time and budget which was decided for the research was limited.
Some of the aspects have not been analysed due to limitations which can be researched
next time by the researcher.

As Grupo Intercom is planning to launch it self in UK and for this purpose the company
requires various resources all of them are as follows:
Monetary resources: The major requirement for Grupo Intercom is money which may
help its to introduce it self in UK. It can be collected from various sources. All of them are as
follows:
Bank loan: The top authority of Grupo Intercom may request a bank to provide money
that could be used for the purpose of business expansion. The organisation will be
required to pay interest on borrowed amount on a fixed rate (Krugman, 2017).
Selling old assets: It is the most preferable method of funding which could be used by
Grupo Intercom in order to launch itself in UK. There is no requirement of paying
interest every month on the amount which is collected by selling old assets of the
company.

Foreign direct investment: It is also a good method of generating funding for business
operations in which business plan could be presented to international investors and ask
them to make investment in the business for expansion.

global it is vital to hire sufficient number of employees so that all the operational activities can
be conducted in appropriate manner.
