Introduction
Globalisation is process through which company or business develop international
influence on international scale. Globalisation is developing economic interdependence of the
countries in all over the world by enhancing variety and volume of cross border transaction in
services and products, rapid diffusion of technology and free international capital flows. It is
interaction between governments, people and organisations of the various nations driven
through investments and international trade with the help of information technology. This
present report is based on the Jaguar company (Baylis, Smith and Owens, 2017). It is luxury
brand vehicle provided by Jaguar Land Rover. This firm provide its cars in all over the world.
Jaguar cars company was responsible for production of the Jaguar Cars until its business
operations were merged with Land Rover. Under this mention report will be discuss about
aspects of scope, quality, risk, communication, time and resources. Small – scale research
through applying the quantitative and qualitative methods of research for meeting with
project objectives and aims will be mentioned in this assignment.

Positive impact of Globalisation in general to the businesses in the UK.
1. Economic Impact- Under this, Impact of Foreign Direct Investment on growth of an
economy has positive growth impact on United Kingdom and it enhance FDI as well
as trade. Globalisation enhancing an economic integration along with interdependence
of products, services, information and technology.
2. Cultural Impact- In an organisation, there are many people which belongs to different
culture. When manager will take any decision then it will include all employees and
take their opinions. Globalisation helps to identify different culture which increase
interaction among each other and rise in pluralization. This leads to improve living
standards of people among each others without harming other tradition and values. It
also create awareness among individual to learn about other culture and tradition for
effective result.
3. Ethical Impact- Ethics is related to norms, beliefs and rules which each and every
firm should follow at the time of performing its business activities at global level.
When company is going to make its business globalised then it should follow all the
ethical norms and value of other country.
Background of the Research
Globalisation is process of change people, places and business in all around the world
because it is more interconnected. An enhancing interdependence is more reaching along with

an effective way to free movements of ideas, products, services investments in all over world.
Jaguar is large size company and it deals in automotive sector. Jaguar is luxury vehicle and it
is a brand of Jaguar Land Rover organisation (Cleveland, Laroche and Hallab, 2013). The
headquarter of this firm is in United Kingdom but it provide its cars in all over the world. In
globalisation, marketing plays an essential role and it is combining of selling as well as
promotion of services and products with enhancing integrated and interdependent global
economy. In globalisation, two countries are trade together as well as draw strengths of each
other. In order to expand bushiness in other country, it is necessary to know about needs and
preferences of consumers in the target countries that aids in ethnocentric firm to develop
global marketing mix under which the product, place, promotion and cost are to be geared
towards particular needs of country.
Jaguar is auto-mobile organisation which provides their products and services
worldwide. One of the basic reason behind the success of this organisation is about its quality
and brand image. The positive impact that can be ascertained from this aspect is about help in
continuous improvement of sales.

of globalisation on Marketing function”. A case study on Jaguar.

To determine concept of Globalisation.
To examine the advantages of Globalisation on business operations of Jaguar.
To evaluate positive economic, cultural, and ethical impacts of globalisation on
Marketing function of Jaguar.

It is an estimation of amount that will necessary to
finish project in an effective manner. In order to
develop an effective project management plan and
implementing that, company need proper amount of
money (Crane and Matten, 2016). Under this, cost
encompasses different things for an instance risk
estimates, labour cost, resources and many others, all
aspects related to project are made part of whole cost
structure.
Scope As Jaguar is large size company and it offers its cars in
all over the world, so the scope of this project is wide.
It conduct its business operations in many countries.
Generally, scope of project is to be identified as make
the project more successful.
Time It is an actual time that is needed to produce
deliverable. In order to complete the project plan, there
should be proper time to company. If time will not be
proper then, all steps in project management plan can
not be performed in a better as well as systemic
manner. In addition to this, time needed to develop
deliverable will directly concerned with the scope.
Without setting the proper time period, project
manager is not able to attain all tasks related to project.
Quality
It is a main aspect that manager need to be consider
because if manager will not maintain quality of project
then its outcomes will not be better. So, it is necessary
that project manager of Jaguar company should
consider resources, limitation and take the effective
decisions for business.
Communication It is one of the most necessary aspect of project. It is

necessary that all stakeholders which are involved in
project management plan should communicate with
each other in a better manner. The different ways of
communication that Jaguar company can use are
emails, telephone and many others (Czinkota and
Ronkainen, 2013).
Risk
In any project, risk and resources both are included.
The risk can be related with the money, time,
technology etc.
Resources On the other hand, for completing the project
management plan in an effective manner, firm should
use the effective resources such as manpower,
technological, financial and many others.

Primary- Under this, collected data is not used before
and is also collected for the first time. The different
sources of primary data collection method are
questionnaires, surveys, observation, interviews etc.
Secondary- In this, data is gathered through previous
records and it is already used by the other person. The
main sources to gather the data collection are books,
journals, articles, magazines etc.
Qualitative- This research method is taken to know
about an insight of people and consumers. This method
is used to be gain understanding of opinion, underlying
reasons etc.
Quantitative- This method of research is used to
determine issue through generating the numerical data
or statistics that can transformed in usable statistics. In
this, data is measured in the formed of numbers and

Work Breakdown Structure for the Project
Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) is used in system engineering and project
management which is deliverable oriented breakdown of project into small task or
components. It is project deliverable which organised team's work into manageable sections.
As per Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK 5) define WBS as hierarchical
decomposition of total scope of work which is carried by project team to complete objectives
and create required deliverables.
Develop a Basic Gantt Chart
Gantt Chart is horizontal bar developed by Henry L. Gantt, in 1917 who is social
scientist and American engineer as production control tool. It provides graphical illustration
for schedule task which helps in planning, controlling and tracking specific tasks in project. It
also shows dependency relationships between current schedule status and activities.
