Introduction
Due to the increasing numbers of competitors in the market, it has become highly challenging for
constructing organisations to maintain a sustainable business environment (Rosa, 2018). GRI
standard is being considered as the international Independence standards for an organisation that
helps to the organisation to understand as well as communicate regarding the issues of Human
Rights corruption and climate change (Bosselmann, 2016). By continuing this, it can also be said
that due to the increasing numbers of growth challenges, maintaining the ethical work
environment has become important concerning topic for the construction industry. The standards
of GRI and its link with the Timber well Constructions on the basis of economic sustainability,
social sustainability and environmental sustainability have been shown in this study.
Concept of GRI standard
GRI standard is being considered as the international Independence standards for an organisation
that helps to the organisation to understand as well as communicate regarding the issues of
Human Rights corruption and climate change (Kerr, Richardson and Eberlein 2018). GRI
standards have been reserved with the impacts of the environment, economy and Society that
indicates contribution towards sustainable development. The total number of 23000 reports
recorded in the database based on sustainability reporting. In organisational perspective theory,
performance indicators play an important role in understanding the Expectations as well as
relevancy of the stakeholders from the particular organisation.

Economic sustainability
Disclosure 201-2 Financial implications and other risks and opportunities due to climate
change
In the third movie, release identify that Timber well Constructions decided to you consider it
expenses so that local community engagement can be ensured. By continuing this, it can also be
said that formulating the social development programmes the company has tried to increase the
local community satisfaction. In the new regulation, the company has invested 4 million US
dollar for ensuring the engagement of external planning for management application
development and work standard by reducing the potential costs.
Disclosure 205-3 Confirmed incidents of corruption and actions taken
In a complaint against the timber well constructions, it is mentioned that the company has got
corrupted after the public corruption scandal between two business partners of timber well. It has
been identified that as per the complaint, five employees and two consultants have offered

the anti-competitive business environment. Complaint against Timberwell construction has been
made in the Australian competition and consumer Commission institution. As for the complaint,

it is mentioned that the company was informed about the planning of local builders for
established in competing Development Company. This situation in order to increase the
competitive track the senior Timberwell executives developed a deal with the contractors as well
as suppliers for not sharing the raw materials with the newly developed company.
Environmental sustainability
Disclosure 302-1 Energy consumption within the organisation
Energy consumption has been considered as one of the important issues faced by Timberwell
Constructions. Analysing situation in the company, it has been identified that due to the improper
management of land areas various allegations have been announced against the company. In the
investigation, it has been mentioned that Timberwell was fined $ 1000 for clearing the 0.45
hectares of the area which is being considered as the critically endangered ecological community
crystal grasslands. Due to the availability of important flora and fauna attributes in this area, the
company has got complained due to the improper vegetation management plan. In the audit
programme, rehabilitation plan by investing 44000 US dollar has been introduced by the
company.

Another complaint has been made against Timber well Constructions due to improper
management of energy and environment. In the investigation, it has been mentioned that

ages. Such cases Dennis face the humiliating age-related jokes which bother the person. After the
complaint against Timberwell the fair work Commission audit Timberwell Constructions for
paying 4400 US dollar as compensation. The fair work Commission also suggested Timberwell
for updating the anti-discrimination policies and encourage for providing anti-discrimination
training to the Employees so that the further situations can be improved.

Workplace harassment discrimination not only increases the sustainability concern of the
company but also play an important rule for driving the negative organisational culture. Product
to ensure the GRI standard as well as community engagement towards the company it is very
important for the company to develop such initiatives so that the local community get the proper
chance for contributing towards the company welfare. Due to various kind of Complaints against
Timberwell, negative publicity of the company has brought a negative impact on its brand image.
In this situation, demonstrating the company in a proper way to the city has become necessary.
For the complaint from Dennis, it has been identified that age-related harassments improper
jokes and unprofessional behaviour with the employees are important concerning topics in the
company. Dennis has resigned from the post due to the increasing workplace harassment and
unfair work Commission. Complain against Timber well construction has been identified due to
the increasing workload as well as a humiliating working environment. By continuing this, it can
also be said that due to lack of information regarding the anti-discrimination policies and
regulations the employees repeatedly involved in such practices. In such situation,, the company
has been suggested to adopt the anti-discrimination regulations as well as it has been suggested
to the company for conducting a training program so that individuals can be informed about the
anti-discrimination policies and its impact. It can be assumed that is the employees would be

aware of the consequences of not following anti-discrimination regulations the situations can be
handled.
Disclosure 413-1 Operations with local community engagement, impact assessments, and
development programs
Product to ensure the GRI standard as well as community engagement towards the company it is
very important for the company to develop such initiatives so that the local community get the
proper chance for contributing towards the company welfare. Due to various kind of Complaints
against Timberwell, negative publicity of the company has brought a negative impact on its
brand image. In this situation, demonstrating the company in a proper way to the city has become
necessary. In the first media release, it has been explained that environmental impact assessment
has been formed by the company for developing the Oxford Spark development site in which
rare species can be identified. In the assessment, it has been estimated that medium-density of
residential development has been proposed by the company so that the consistency of frog
survival initiatives can be maintained. In the second media release, it has been explained that the
timber why construction is an energy efficient organisation by following the energy consumption
table the company can improve its energy consumption techniques so that the Australian citizen
can get benefited. In the third media release, the company can also implement a fuel
consumption program of renewable resources with a minimum amount of 50% total fuel
consumption for the next three years. In the fourth and final media release, the company
introduced the information regarding closely working with steam well counsel for completing the
companies maintain a plan in a proper way.

Conclusion
In this study, study, it can be concluded that sustainability is one of the important concerns of
every organisation. Due to the increasing numbers of allocations have the negative brand image
of timber well construction, but through the media release as well as come campaigns it can be
easier for the company for ensuring the local company engagement was its growth process. By
continuing this, it can also be stated that the initiative which has been adopted by the company
towards bringing environmental sustainability can play an effective role in reducing the impact
of climatic changes. On the other hand, it can also be said that not only the maintenance of
standard but also it is very important for the company to improve its internal structures.
Discrimination and the unfair regulations as well as improper organisational culture is very
important for increasing the efficiency of the employees. By providing proper training to the
individuals, not only the discrimination in the workplace can be solved but also it can make the
employees more responsible towards maintaining the values as well as moral Ethics of the
company. In the case of corruption, it can be suggested that Timberwell needs to focus on
developing an effective strategy for ensuring the standard monitoring process of every business
report. It can be assumed that with this initiative it will better company to maintain the GRE
standard in the workplace.
