INTRODUCTION In an organization there are numbers of department which conduct work together in order to attain the desire goal and objectives successfully(Chuang, Ouand Ma, 2020). The main aim of conducting respective report is to understand role of different departments such as marketing, finance, operation or production and human resource. Moreover it also includes importance ofall these functions working together as well as it also include example of different organization. MAIN BODY Role of different departments In a company there are different departments whose roles are predefined and specific and all departments conduct their work in effective manner. Below role of some of the essential departments are given:- Marketing department – It is considered as department which role is to promote products and services in market so that more and more customers get attracted. The Coca Cola marketing department adopts new as well as innovative ideas in order to attract marker as well as it also help in retaining customers for long or life time. Finance department – It is considered as one of the essential department in a company as they provide finance to other departments, through which they perform their work (Cusimanoand et.al., 2020). In respect of ASDA their finance department perform several role such as develop budget, track or maintain different accounts of company as well as they also allot budget or funds to other departments. Operations/ production department – The next one of the main department is operating or products which ensure that all the departments are conducting their work in effective manner for attaining desire outcome. In respect of Marks and Spencer their Operations or products department ensure that all the manufacturing of products are done in best or standard quality. They also ensure that all the manufacturing and packaging are done properly. Human resource department – It is the department which helps company in hiring best manpower for their business operations and functions so that they attain the desire goal
successfully(Dinhand et.al., 2020). In respect of Holiday Inn their human resource departmenthiresemployeeswhoarebestforhospitalityindustry(Eglash,2020). Moreover, respective industry also conducts several other works such as employee’s engagement, training and so on. Importance of department working together In a company every department play an essential role but they together conduct work in order to attain the desire goal successfully. In Unilever all finance, marketing, operations or products and human resource conduct work effectively. For example when operation department need to hire employee they ask to human resource that will do advertisement by the marketing department(Farleyand et.al., 2020). Moreover these all process wills conducted by funds which are allotted by finance department which show togetherness of all departments are essential. CONCLUSION By conducting evaluation of above mentioned topic it can be summaries that in a company there are numbers of department which play different role and responsibilities in order to attain the desire goal and objectives. In addition to this, these departments are marketing, finance, operation or production and human resource as well as these all department conduct their work together so that company achieve their desire goal successfully.
