INTRODUCTION Severaldepartments are present within a company which perform different role in the attainment of predetermined goal as well as target successfully(Goodacreand et.al., 2020). The primary objective of doing this report is to determine the role of different departments in a company such as finance, operations or production, marketing and human resource. In addition to this it also includes importance of these departments when they work together in a company. Explanation of responsibility of different organizational departments Within a company there are numbers of department who work different by performing different role for attaining predetermined goal successfully.There are some of the important department’s roles are given below:- Marketing department –This department has the responsibility of managing advertising and promotions of products and services. This helps in managing the customer relation and increasing brand reputation. In respect of M&S, their marketing department does promotion through different digital media channels(Khekale, Askhedkarand Parikh, 2020). It is so because through this they able to attract more and more customers successfully. Finance department – The role of this report is related to handling of funds or finance of a company so that firm ensures that they are making profit successfully. In respect of Coca Cola their finance department develops numbers of accounts in order to determine their profit, assets and liabilities. It is so because through this they able to ensure that they are earning as well as growing their business. Operations/ production department – This department of a company ensure that every work of production and operations are conducted in proper manner. In respect of Coca Cola, respective department ensure that products are manufactured with the best quality. Moreover they also take care of operations at the ground level. Human resource department – The main role of this department is to hire as well as train employees so that they help in attaining desire goal of company effectively(Richardand et.al., 2020). In respect of ASDA their HR department hire employees according to requirement as well as they also train them effective so they perform duties successfully.
Importance of department working together In an organization there are several departments who perform different as well as several roles so that they can attain their predetermined goal successfully. The main departments in a company are finance, marketing, operations or products and human resource andthese all department work together for attaining goal successfully(Smith and et.al., 2020). In Marks and Spencer all departments are interrelated with each other. For example at the point when activity division needs to enlist representative they ask to human asset that will do promotion by the showcasing office(Stoneand et.al., 2020). Also these all cycle wills directed by reserves which are allocated by money division which show fellowship of all offices are basic. CONCLUSION From the above discussion, it is determined that in the succession of business different departments play major role as well as it also ensure that all the works are conducted and accomplished in proper ways for attaining desire goal successfully. In a company, there are different departments which work together effectively for attaining desire goal effectively.
