INTRODUCTIONGraphic designing is a very large area and most of it is needed of one to become a proficient graphicdesigner. To advertise or to publish for print or the addition of internet content would have beenineffective without the specialists such as the graphic designers for inputs. The understanding of agraphic designer in using and combining the arts, the colours and the words make them the bestsuitable candidates for design of advertisements posts, customizing web pages on the internet andlastly on how to develop the content printed. DEFINITIONGraphic design is referred to as the process and the art to combine words(texts) and pictures(images)and communicate a message that is effective with use of designs such as the use of logos, posters,signs, books, web pages, graphics and the brochures.Characteristics and Traits of a graphic designer. Graphic designers have trait of have the ability to be criticized.The problem solving trait as it helps them to think more logistically and much more criticize theirwork and hence leading to design of a very good advert or brochure. Self- doubt is another traitexperienced in graphics.
