The title given to my action research is“ The impact of graphic learning over students of grade 9
at Montego Bay high school in Jamaica.”. A lot of the times, students learn more from graphics
than they do from the actual teacher, teaching in the classroom. It has been observed that
students are able to understand in depth about the subject and attain particle knowledge from it.
As per the topic, observation done upon positive and negative effect of graphic organizer on
student of 9th grade. The research has helped in me in understanding about the topic in detail. A
lot of the times, students learn more from graphics than they do from the actual teacher, teaching
in the classroom. With the implementation of collaborative learning in the English language
classroom, believe, students can develop their vocabulary.
According to (Basios and Loucopoulos, 2017)Graphic organizers can help students
organise their thoughts, find connections, and remember information. Visual representations
have a wide range of applications and can be used in a variety of professions. The manner in
which graphic organizers are used is governed on the purpose. For example, a CEO of a
company would organize his or her phone substantially differently from a college freshman.
Although they may utilize similar apps, their usage of these apps may differ dramatically. Many
organizers are useful for a variety of tasks. These organizers, like our application example, can
be divided into several groups based on their intended function. Graphic organizer options also

University of Jamaica, where she hopes to become a teacher. I believe that when kids work
together, they learn and retain a lot more information. Even in grade 9, I observe pupils who
have difficulty with vocabulary. They have minimal to no vocabulary development. This, I feel,
is due to their lack of exposure to more collaborative learning. They are educated in a
conventional manner and do not always remember what they are taught. This, in my opinion, is a
continuing issue that must be addressed. That is why I have chosen to concentrate on this subject.
Collaborative learning, I believe, can be incorporated into the curriculum to help pupils increase
their vocabulary. Collaborative learning, in my opinion, is an important aspect of a student's
education. I also choose to concentrate on this topic because I believe it has yet to be adequately
addressed. Students, in my opinion, learn more, work better, and are more at ease working in
groups. I feel that there should be a place in the curriculum dedicated to collaborative learning.
Significance of the study:
The ministry of education, students, and teachers can all benefit from this action study.
The pupils would be the ones who would profit the most. I've always believed that collaborative
