The main reason is that they are guided by different intentions before choosing to coming up with the structure. Therefore, to ensure that the whole purpose is achieved fully, the roofs will be a significant consideration (Francis and Lorimer, 2011). Green roofs form one of the standard types of roofs that are loved by many citing the advantages associated with it and opportunities that come about when makinguse of it (Francis and Lorimer, 2011). The roofs come with particular properties that allow it to achieve the intended purpose in the society. Vegetation forms the primary cover for such a roof (Nagase and Dunnett, 2012). Apart from that, it also has a medium that offers a conducive environment for the growth of the related vegetation contained in the roof. The waterproofing membrane forms the base for such growth that is to be experienced (Nagase and Dunnett, 2012). In making it more stable through it sustainability process, it may go to the extent of having root barriers and irrigation systems. Embracing the green roofs will greatly help in solving the depletion of the wildlife from the urban areas and the beautiful views of the areas. Green roofs play such a role excellently (Li et al, 2015). They are known for being in a position to maintain their life for more than 60 years (Li et al, 2015). Apart from the roofs, the air conditioning devices also increase the cost of coming up with a comfortable structure (Reddy et al, 2016). The green roofs do reduce such a cost, as they are known for being excellent in conditioning the air getting into the house at a particular time of the day (Reddy et al, 2016). Using one aspect of construction in solving several challenges associated with construction can facilitates efficient construction management. The smog greatly interferes with the air quality that the community does need for its survival. Several members of the community venturing into such forms of roofing will result in a significant improvement of the air quality in the area (Li et al, 2015). The practice will too result in the reduction of the impact of carbon monoxide in addition to the elimination of nitrogen pollution from the rain. The green vegetationof the roofs makes the environment more beautiful significantly improving on the aesthetics in the society. A common example is seen with Hypericum perforatum.
