INTRODUCTION
Grief refers to the healing process which is a natural
part whereas loss refers to an inevitable part of life.
There are many reason for grief which can be loss of
loved one, loss of long-held dream, loss of health and
many more. It is highly difficult to deal with loss of
personal life which includes loss of close friend, the
serious illness of loved ones and so on.

Brief overview of narratives
Kurt Fearnley is an athlete who is a wheelchair racer
and has won gold medal at Paralympic Games. He has a
congenital disorder which made him disable to perform
some activity due to impact of lower spine and his
sacrum. He has shared his experience which is
motivating and provides learning that never give up. He
has given his best and has passed through many
difficulty and other social and psychosocial problems
during his life journey.

Psychodynamic theory refers to human behaviour which
can help to explain intrapsychic process and
interpersonal pattern within-person which can create
awareness based on childhood experience. This is the
one which has to provide an interrelationship between
human behaviour and individuals way of react. In this,
the psychodynamic theory applies on grief and loss
which is regarding the experience of Kurt Fearnley.

In psychology, dual-process model refers to an account
that provides information about individual behavriour is
in two different ways. This can include in epliced that is
automatic and unconscious process and explicted
controlled that is conscious process. This is the theory
which describe two different behaviour of individual
that is oriented towards loss and restoration.

Biopsychosocial assessment refers to a framework
which emphasised the importance of individuals
systemic view along with integration of psychological,
social, culture and biological factor on functioning and

CONCLUSION
From the above discussion, it can be concluded that
there are various impacts of directive on brief and loss
where psychodynamic theory has their own role which
can implement within grief and loss. There are various
application of dual process model which includes in
grief and loss theory which can provide experience
about the thought process within individual.
