INTRODUCTION
Aviation is the industry which relates with the travelling of a person from one place to
another with help of air transport. In this modern and competitive world, the airways are gaining
more popularity as the connects the whole world with air transport (Sheibani, 2020). Thus, the
present study will be directed towards the analysis of Amsterdam airport Schiphol which is an
international airport of Netherland. This is an airport which is located 9 km to southwest of
Amsterdam and is the third largest busiest airport in Europe on basis of passenger volume. The
current study will outline the ground handling process at the airport and the legal and regulatory
requirements of Amsterdam airport Schiphol.

The ground handling is the process through which all the services performed to maintain
the airport are included. The employees who are performing these activities are known as ground
handlers. There are many different facilities which is provided by these ground handlers at
Amsterdam airport Schiphol which are as follows-
Baggage is the first facility which is provided to passengers in order to manage their
luggage at the airport. These handlers assist the passenger in carrying their luggage to the place
where they want to go.
Another facility provided by ground handler is to monitor the safety of the passenger
coming to the airport and travelling by the flights of Amsterdam airport Schiphol. This is
necessary because if consumer will not be safe then they will not like to travel with this airline.
Another major facility provided is cleaning and maintaining of airport. This is very
important because of the reason that if there will not be cleanliness and good hygiene maintained
at the airport then the passengers will not feel safe and will not travel with these airlines ( Samà
and et.al., 2018).
Thus, these are the major facilities which are being provided under the process of ground
