Essay on ethical issues Ethical issues refer to those issues which affects the standards and rules of the organisation. And also affects the goal of an organisation (Löfström, 2019). The common ethical issues in the organisation are harassment at the workplace Health and safety issues and privacy issues. In this report privacy issue has been considered. Five moral principles of Kitchener for ethical issues Autonomy –this principle focuses on the concept of independence. As privacy of employees is the major ethical issue in the organizations. So it is the responsibility of management that they do not share any private information of any employee with others. Justice- as per this principle, organisation must look at the needs of employees and try to fulfill them. Loyalty– organisation must bring change in the hierarchy and work culture and also give equal opportunity to every employee so that they will remain loyal towards the organisation. Nonmaleficence–it means no one should harm others in the organisation. Even organisation must not harm the privacy of the employees and give them work- life balance. Fidelity- this principle focuses on the concept of faithfulness and loyalty should be maintained in the organisation. Three factors of ethical counselling relationship Client factor This factor states that client is not object, counselor always remain aware that what is going on in the mind of the client and how counselor can fulfill the needs of the client. Counselor factor Counselor must encourage and support the client to know the positive outcome of any situation. Counselor must be expert in applying different methods so that all the issues of client get resolved. Contextual factor This factor speaks the comfort of client (Katafiasz and et.al 2020). It is the liability of counselor that their client must feel comfortable and open with counselor then only client so can share their issues with counselor. 3
