Cost and Time Estimation •Cost and Time estimation for the reconstruction of the harbour bridge purely depends on the number of labours involved in the work and the distance of the bridge. •If the distance gets increased, it takes more cost and time to complete. •If the number of labours gets increased, less time is required to complete the work. •Total Cost – 70 million for 1 km bridge •Total Time – 400 days

The port is situated inside the city limit. •The concrete bridge is not safe for the harbour bridge, as heavy vehicles will be more. •So the type of bridge is Steel. •The bridge is going to be constructed in the place where many disasters like Tsunami, cyclones, heavy monsoons may occur. •The geographic location is the eastern west coast plain.
