INTRODUCTIONIn this competitive era, it is quite necessary for every business to have the efficientworkers who helps to accomplish the goals and defined objectives of a business. In context tothis the main aim of this report is to demonstrate the skills and knowledge within employabilityskills & professional development.It is based upon the case study of Harrods of London which isa British Institution and a well-known retail store who built a unique reputation at global level.Currently the company needs an employee who can face the challenges that its reputation andstandards bring and that is why the quoted firm finds an employee with right mix of skills andabilities who will become manager in future.Thus, the report is divided into two parts such that in part A, report conduct a skill audition the context of an employee's roles and responsibilities and also identify some keyinterpersonal and transferable skills and further also analysing tools and techniques to enhancethese skills. Moreover, report conduct a SWOT analysis in order to identify the strength,weaknesses, opportunities and threats, then it also carries out the individual appraisal with anorganization. The report will implement a professional development plan with proper aims andobjectives and areas for development.
