This research report analyzes the reasons for the collapse of Hastie Group, a company that specialized in engineering. The report highlights the violation of corporate governance principles, poor financial management, and lack of effective leadership as the main reasons for the collapse. The research used both qualitative and quantitative research methods to obtain relevant data for the study. The findings show that $20 million fraud led to the downfall of Hastie construction firm. The collapse was the worst to have been experienced in history in the construction industry leaving many projects pending.
