INTRODUCTIONIn health and social care organisation, health and safety is the measure aspect thatshould be considered. The report focus on review of the different the policies, system andprocedure that help in safety in the company. Various task are assigned to the differentemployee of the organisation such as implementation of procedure, organising healthprograms, modifying the policies etc. which increase the morale of employee and enhance theproductivity and profitability of the company. Importance of communication of theinformation and risk related to that are identified, various risk measure are taken such asanalyse the ID proof of the information taker and asking question which make sure that he/hehas right to have the information. Review of health care system is done and effect of noncompliance on the productivity and profitability of the venture are made.TASK 11.1 Policies and procedure that are made for safely communication is implemented.There are numbers of plan of action and procedures for transferring information in thesocial care work place are made from that data protection act (Shatkin and Kim, 2017). In1998. In case of slip accident, Patient can not take care of themselves because their majorbones are injured, their care have been taken by their family and friends so information relatedto them should be communicated to their family members so that they can able care theirpatients properly. The data protection act is implemented to defend the company's product andservice user right for privacy mostly for the private info such as political and religion beliefs,user ethnicity, criminal and sexuality record. Main responsibilities of the service user is tokeep all the information secure and confidential. Personal information can be disclose to someother people if the individual give concerned provides consent (Donham and Thelin, 2016). Insome condition such as death and life situation, the information should be communicated tothe family members. It anyone emphases to provide data about other's work with, then itshould be mitigated that that person who wants the information have right to know about that.To know the right to communicate the information, different organisation have differentpolicies and procedure.The basic process and procedure is to ask for the ID proof or any other documentationthat states their right to know the data. The inquiry is done over the telephone and question isasked with the service person concerned, if the ID proof is not there. Question may includes1
family names and date of birth of the concerned individual (Dewey and Okun, 2016. If theanswer is not given correctly then he/she is denied to provide information due to in under theterms of 1988 Data protection act, the person is not secured to the identity so it is suggestedthat the ID proof is necessity to prove that he/she has right to get information. If the person issatisfied with the ID but not secured for making disclose then he/she has right to take theirtelephone and communicate with the manager. It is compulsory under the national healthservice and heath and safety administrator that the making of health and safety policy papersin the social and health company is necessary (Shatkin and Kim, 2017). In such case like slipaccident, information communication is very important so that their related members can ableto take care of them, but if the information is passes to unauthorised person then they canmisuse the information and will harm the patent. So in such cases proper analyse of thosemembers who get the information should be done.The method for communicating the information is graphical communication andshowing of graphical pictures is the way that the information is transferred in the environmentof the health care organisation. Such as direction for the fire exit, non flammable and otherhazards are signalled with the usage of graphical presentation method. These are the waywhich shows safety sigh in the business. This way is very effective to convey through thegraphical signs boards which create the attention of the person. These methods help tocommunicate to those people who are not literate but they can easily understand the signboard for their safety (Cerqueira and Melo, 2017).1.2 Roles and responsibilities in the heath and care organisation.2
As the organisation have planned various policies that not providing information to theunauthorised person and use of graphical representation to secure people, there are variouspractices in the social and health care business to insure the safety of both customers andemployee. The management of the company have various practices for ensuring the safety ofthe employee and users of the work. Top level management is accountable for making policiesand procedure in heath care setting and they are also answerable for the executing thatpolicies. According to the national health service, administration is the top level authority andthey are only liable for achieving the legislative and regulative need that are affiliated to thesafety and health of all the stakeholders of the company. These responsibilities includeimplementation of regulations, monitoring all the activities and making sure that service usersand employee are following all the implemented rules and regulations. The keyresponsibilities of the management are as follows:Techniques to be used properly: Use of technology in the appropriate manner will ableto find out the hazards and removing them in the social and health care workplace. case of slip accident, different techniques are used by the organisation so that they canable to care them in proper way and reduce their fat.Risk controlled measures: Use of techniques to encourage attitude and influence thebehaviour so that risk can be controlled (Shatkin and Kim, 2017). Different controlmeasure have been taken by the company so they can able to prevent the slip accidentin the hospitalThe roles and responsibilities are as follows:Provide all the procedure which are mandatory for the safe working environment.Hazards identification system are to be implemented to identify, communicate andcorrect the hazards. Organisation must find out that what are the reason why individualget slip in the hospital and the take preventive measures so that they can able to reduceit.Ensure the proper supply of equipment and their maintenance.To make sure that hazards identification supervisor are expert (Shatkin and Kim,2017).Inspect entire work place by processing co-occurrence with the JHSC which is anevaluation process)Support safety committee, representatives and workers in their social and healthactivities.Follow and implement Occupational health and safety regulation and act. 1.3 Heath and safety priorities in children health and care4
