HEALTH AND SAFETY IN HSC
Review systems, policies and procedures for
communication information
. For instance it is the policy of the
organisation through which information
can be obtained from the records
department rather than taking permission
from the concerned department.
The communication system defines the
manner in which information is conveyed
from one person to another. It has been
identified that they communication is
crucial component of an institution and
must be carried out in formal and informal
manner. As a director I am suggesting that
a right mixture of formal and informal
system should be facilitated so that major
needs and expectation of individual are
dealt with in best possible manner. . The
adoption of formal system by taking help
from the technological advancements have
enhanced the communication system in
the institution. I recommend the use of
discussion, meeting and safety signage
which will alter the interaction within
different member of an organisation. Th
use of signage and along with use of micro
fibre will definitely impact the amount of
trips and fall within premises.
It is the duty to maintain health and safety
standards in an institution. The management in
an organisation is responsible for adoption of
practices which lead to complying with safety
standards in healthcare. The management at
Resident care comprises of directors, managers,
supervisors and finally employees. I recommend
that organisational structure of an institution is
clearly defined with the task which they have to
perform so that better results can be availed.
The duties of individuals and safety protocols
are depicted on the in-house chart within
institution so that they are aware of the tasks to
be performed by them. . The major duties for
management in healthcare includes reinforcing
standards of health and safety in institution. The
attitude, behaviour and actions of workforce are
to be focused upon so that their actions and
efforts are channelised in conforming safety and
health protocols in an institution
Workplace communication is referred to exchange of
information in the working environment. The are some
policies and procedures which are laid down by the
authorities to facilitate that in the ideal manner. I have
identified that trips and falls are amongst the major
causes which affect the safety of services users. To
avoid the same it is very important for me to take
assistance from communication so that such
happenings can be mitigated. The data on the patient
should be calculated so that major vulnerabilities can
be identified. The data which has been provided by
the patient must be preserved with the organisation
and cannot be used for any other purpose rather than
treating an individual. The policies which are adopted
by a health and social care institution shape the
communication system must be redefined so that
major challenges of business are countered.

Analysis of health and safety priorities for service
The reason for which I have
emphasized on actions and behaviour of
employees so that accidents in premises could
controlled and potential harms can be avoided.
Being a part of management I have to take
responsibilities for the failure I have
encountered in terms of health and safety of
patients. The management of this healthcare
system aims to utilise the potential of
employees and supervisors so that such
incidents can be mitigated. The instruction
boards, training, recruiting experienced staff
are some of the features which will be
employed by me to ensure that benchmarks
of health and safety are complied with. The
structure is developed in such a manner that
ideal communication takes place and every
employee is awarded with a responsibility
along with communication so to ensures that
adhere of safety standards within organisation.
The investment on plants and technological
up-gradation introduced so that challenges in
the health and safety could be dealt. The
services users are also engaged by
management in maintaining health and safety
practices by providing them with
precautionary measures and substances so that
unfavourable circumstances can be mitigated.
It has been a known fact the health
and social care institution is a complicated
sector. It encompasses people who need
emotional and physical assistance at all
times. This support further helps them to live
a comfortable life in an institution. The
health and safety priorities will be discussed
taking into consideration the surgical
patients with the healthcare institution.
It has been found after analysis that there are
some mild concerns when it comes to dealing
with medically vulnerable people. The NHS is
known to priorities on personalised and safe
medical procedures to aid the patient in
leading an ideal life. However there is a need
felt for organising of training session for
nursing assistant and supporting staff so that
stature of health and safety could be
maintained.
The priority is to make sure that safety of
patients is maintained while going through a
surgical procedure.
Another priority for surgical patients is
maintenance of cleanliness and hygiene is to
be maintained so that chances of infections
while treatment could be mitigated.
The third priority for a patient while going
through a surgical procedure is that expiry of
medicines should be checked and must be
disposed so that chances of infections are
reduced.
It is the duty to prioritise these
mentioned approaches so that the management
of NHS (North Staffordshire) so that major
accidents could be avoided and patients are
