INTRODUCTIONHealth and safety is very essential as well as important at the workplace. This issue isalso very crucial at the social and health care premises. Every company must follow all the lawsand legislation which is related to it. Employees can also be satisfied with their work which isassigned by employer. In Healthcliff lodge their manager will take care of their employee'shealth and safety. The manager can also make some strategies for their organisation which helpsin reducing the risk (Cherry and Jacob, 2016). The purpose of this report is to analyse the hazardwhich is associated at the workplace and also to find out the effect if Healthcliff is not fulfil allthe compliances. LO 11.1 Systems, policies and procedures accordance with legislative requirements.There are various types of legislation which support the health and safety at theworkplace which is of welfare and social care. They are described as below:Health and safety at work Act 1974: There are numerous issues which is related to welfare andsafety at every type of organisation are covered in it. According to this act, it is the primaryresponsibility of an employer to take care of the health of their employees or workers.Management of health and safety at work regulations 1992: As per the act it is need of everyemployer to assess the risk and also record the findings (Edelman, Mandle and Kudzma, 2013).Manager of the Healthcliff lodge can also trained their employees so that they can do their worktogether to achieve the goals an objectives of the organisation.Health and safety regulations 1981: According to this, employer or manager need to ensurethat there is first aid equipment are available at the workplace and every employee must knowhow to use them.It is also essential that every worker must aware about the arrangement of firstaid.According to the above legislation it is necessary for Healthcliff lodge that health andsafety care must be implemented there effectively. In UK, it is the duty of Health department toimplement the policies related to welfare and safety at the workplace. There is a model which isrelated to health department is given below:1
