In the particular situation of the role play I had played the role of the client whose trust
had been broken, and my friend had played the role of the service providing agent. The situation
so happened that I had to lodge a complaint with regard to the poor delivery of a particular
service. The promises made were not fulfilled and on asking for some form of assistance in order
to receive the value that I ought to have received against the sum of money I had paid, I was met
with the awkward reply that the claims made by me were unjustified and that the things which I
was asking for went against the company policy. I was quite intrigued at the fact that even before
letting me complete my point, the other person had jumped to conclusions in a rather rude and
uncouth tone due to which I felt quite hurt. More than being aggressive and to lay a claim to
what I ought to have received justifiably, I felt like I should give up on the conversation and not
allow myself to be much bothered about what had happened.

With regard to the safeguarding of the privacy of the clients’ privacy, my organization is
quite proactive and ensure full safety and security of the information provided by the client. The
computer enabled systems at our organization is quite safe and is under the radar of high security
which ensures that our systems do not get hacked easily. Our organization has strict policy
guidelines in which it has been declared that the information of the clients shall not be disclosed
to any third party organizations. In case, the organization feels that it has to convey some
information to the client, then it ensures that it does directly through the portals of the
organization. No confidential information on which the safety and security of the client is based
is asked to be disclosed by the client. Also measures are taken to ensure that if any problem
solving activity is to be embarked upon by the organization, and that involves the disclosure of

some confidential details which are required for the official purposes, then the client is asked to
personally meet up at the office of the organization. In situations where, the situation demands,
the clients are entrusted with a particular service provider who looks into all the affair of the
client to maintain privacy.

of the issues to be difficult.

delivery are the cognitive capacities of the person, the possibility of the person to undergo mood
swings and the level of depression the person has been suffering from. These factors can affect
the communication between the care provider and the patient. Dealing with psychological
problems can cause more challenges to the care provider as that makes knowing of the actual
problems being faced by the person difficult.

more effective. It can be done by means of motivating the client to get well soon so
that he or she can indulge in the activities he or she is fond of.

- These factors mentioned above can be implemented in a planning session by means
of entering into a discussion with the family members of the client and the

In the care setting the factor of personal safety is given due importance by ensuring that
the policy of the segregation of the sexes is maintained to a great degree in order to ensure that
any form of sexual harassment is avoided. The female staffs are more prone to sexual
harassments, hence their interests are safeguarded. On top of that, an attendant always attends
upon and nurses the clients of the client for safety issues and to avoid any untoward circumstance
from taking place.
The care strategies are effective as they are a result of the intensive planning which are
arrived at by means of adherence to the factor of being democratic and inclusive of diverse
opinion. The care strategies are customized and arrived at by means of intensive planning to
secure the best interest of the client, hence it is expected that it shall be quite effective. However,
the success of the care strategies depend upon the way the client responds to the care being
provided. In some instances the car provided shall not bear the desired results at all, and that is

I have been farely satisfied in working in the care providing setting as it has been a
learning experience for me. It has broadened my horizon of thought process and has enabled me
to apply the theories of care provision from a practical perspective. I have learnt some of
combinations of theories and how they can be maneuvered to achieve the maximum amount of
success in benefitting the client.

recruited by means of taking only those candidates who have proper qualifications and most
importantly, the experience.
The problem of miscommunication between the departments can be handled effectively
by means of organizing the various departments coherently to facilitate communication between
them and thereby avoiding the chances of miscommunication. Each of the personnel placed at
the charge of the various departments must be proactive in terms of communicating properly.
