Fletcher Building Limited is a construction company and some of the sources that can contaminate air and cause airborne hazards are- Chemicals This is one of the most important sources of the air contamination, this means that hazardous chemicals are used for construction sites and they contaminate air at the construction sites and this chemicals are used through glues, oils, paints thinners and plastics, all these chemical produces noxious vapours and contaminate the air (Sun and et.al., 2019). This later contributes in occupational risk for those working at construction sites. Land clearing and demolition This is another source of contamination in construction industry and this is being one of the important activity become vital to carry out and while carrying out this high level of dust is generated and this contaminates air around the site of construction. Use of plant and vehicles on site This is concerned with site activities and involves machinery such as breakers, bulldozers, dumpers and excavators. These operate on diesel engines, and they release pollutants into the air. Gases involve gases carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides, and hydrocarbons. These gases contaminate the air and contribute in airborne diseases of the workers.

CONCLUSION On the basis of above discussion it can be concluded that in construction industries it is natural that activities contaminate air. This is why it is important that adequate measures are taken to prevent the impact.
