Introduction
The world community is negatively affected by Poverty and poor health, thus leading
millions of people to live with very low standards of living. Several factors like social,
political, and economic injustices has been recognized as the main cause in many regions and
countries America – USA. However, to understand this thesis paper in a better position,
Poverty is defined as a situation of being extremely poor or having an insufficient amount in
the individual economy or being inferior in quality. In the USA, Poverty has resulted and
acted as a source of poor health among the residents, thus increasing the risk of illness and
promote child health disparities as a social determinant (Smiley, Howell & Elliott, 2018).
According to history, in the USA, the condition of child poverty is greater than in other
countries compared to the resources available. In a 2012 report (United Nations Children's
Fund), the USA was ranked 34th of 35 positions concerning the reflection of child poverty
during the Great Recession of 2007-2009 (Bibbins-Domingo & Mangione, 2016). Also,
according to Census data 2014, the following figures confirm the approximate percentage of
Poverty at various levels; 21.1% children below 18 years (15.6 million), therefore
acknowledged to live within poor households. Furthermore, in 2014, approximately 16
million houses used to be supplied with the "Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program"
benefit due to the spread of poor health and source of illness USA (Glaze, Tsoutis & Minton,
2016).
However, most factors have been considered to be the cause of Poverty in the USA; they
include; demographic, opportunity equality, social mobility, unemployment, low level of
education, gender income gap, and other factors like political influence and health and health
care. Later, all this causes and other will lead to consequences of poor health has identified
above, thus stimulation the supply of supplements and other nutrients to the poor households.
Furthermore,n i this research paper, the challenge of Poverty will be handled through finding
