INTRODUCTION
Within this report, Astra Plc is a small organisation that is taken into consideration and
making an app within three months that is associated with the perspective of health and fitness.
The respective organisation is engaged in the process of selling minerals and vitamins and is
concentrating on obsessed young generation having no time or less time for its physical activities
or exercises (Chase and et.al., 2021). This application will provide much value to its users and
the scope, success and different risks concerned with it will going to be described in this report.
MAIN BODY
Project Plan
The plan of the project is associated with a major approach that facilitates a project
manager in the process of dealing will all the situations along with the issues that are in relation
with a project. This is significant for a project manager to build an effective project plan in order
to achieve the major objectives as well as goals of the project. In current scenario, the plan of the
project is to develop an application that is useful in giving fitness solutions to the young
generation. The respective project plan will involve hiring of IT experts for the purpose of
developing an application in an effective and precise way (Heigermoser, et. al. 2019). For
accomplishing task which are concerned with project of application development, various
activities or exercises will be provided for the health and fitness lifestyle among young
generation. Such planning will be done and the objectives of the project will be attained with the
support of different effective tools such as Gantt Chart.
Project Scope
Astra Plc is making a health and fitness app which will have its influence on a wide
number of people and this application will be especially made for the young generation who is
obsessed and cannot go to gyms and fitness institutes or are busy with their tight schedules or
some of the other reasons (Kerzner, 2019). This health and fitness app will be designed with very
basic healthy and fitness exercises and activities. Such kind of application will have some of the
famous fitness celebrities in order to guide and train youths. The health and fitness app will give
videos as well as all the contents that are associated with the exercises. This app will have
various features regarding exercises of the different parts of the body and all other essential

information. The launching cost of this fitness is around fifty thousand pounds. The integration
of social media of this app will get done by a distinct fitness page along with having its name.
This application will monitor all the physical activities of an individual on the mobile phone
which will allow in getting the information regarding heart rates, their basic duties and all the
other exercises and activities that are done. Such application will also give attributes of in-app
purchasing as this purchasing will all be in relation with the sporty outlooks of the celebrities.
This purchasing will be based on both the branded as as well as non-branded products and will
also have various features that are based on the payment and acceptance of the bill (McLaren
and Loosemore, 2019). The health and fitness app will also be based on the process of
customisation and will fulfil the requirements and demands of the specific targeted audience and
their personal targets such as some particular body parts which the customers want to enhance or
reduce and improve their body status. The testing of respective application will get done through
targeting a smaller target market and after that it will be verified that how this application is
providing benefits to its users and in what portion it is effective or not. After such process, it will
get launched on a greater scale and it will be done on all fitness platforms of the city with
effective advertisements and promotion.
Project Risk
In launching the app of health and fitness, there have been a lot of risk that has to be
faced by Astra Plc and these risks can be reduced but can not get cut off for whole (Poole and
King, 2022). These risks include high competition from other applications, delay in app design
an many others. There is an explanation of these risks:
 Competitive rivalry: The competitors are large in number concerned with health and
fitness apps and this competition creates a great risk for Astra Plc as such applications
have loyal market share. It will not be easy for organisation to attract such target-base and
hence competition is a great risk for business (Reda, R. and Carbonaro, A., 2018).
 Delay in design: This is major risk that is associated with the application as team within
Astra Plc manaing and making app can face some sort of technical issues or other
glitches which can lead to delay in the process of designing.
 Cost overruns: The cost of budget can also get enhanced which may result in
unbalanced budget and leading the organisation in debts (Pan and Zhang, 2021). Such

costs can overrun within its business operations or some other contingencies can also get
occur at time of its making.
 Design and comparability issues: Risks related to copy or duplicacy of the designs of
application might be faced by the organisation and it will be a great risk for Astra Plc.
 Defective and unsecured working of the application: The company may face risk in
the process of its working and some of defects may arise (Picciotto, 2020). Such defects
can have a unsecured working of the application that might take away the personal or
private information of the customers due to some glitch in its working.
Project Success
The initial success of application will get measured by number of downloads of
respective app along with how many users actually want to use such app and hence their
involvement with the app will lead to success. Active users of application will also be an
essential component of its success and along with it how many users are retained in the
application for long time will also be a success criteria for the app. Another success elements
include lifetime value, bonus value, etc (Saltz, Hotz, Wild, and Stirling, 2018). which will check
how much value each and every user get for using this app and lifetime value gets measured with
profits or loss that customer is bringing for application.
CONCLUSION
From above explanation of report, it has been concluded that application is valuable to its
targeted market and the plan of project is explained with Gantt Chart with the risks concerned
with it. Furthermore, measures of success of application have also been included in this report.
The scope of project has been discussed in this project that has stated the various objevtives to be
achieved by the respective application.

launch of the application. Referral rewards will also be given to key customers for achieving
desired results. This becomes significant for the respective organisation to evolve customer
relationship management for the purpose of capturing a large number of people towards the
business organisation. The targeted audience of this application wants to improve their health
