A project plan is a document which helps in setting the task, goals, schedules and the roles are
assigned to each individuals so that the project can be completed within a specified time
period. Astra Plc is a small size company involves in business of vitamins and minerals of food
supplement. The company is about to launch a new application for health and fitness to
diversify its portfolio.

What does the app do?
An application will assist the people in monitoring their diet easily and help in tracking the
details of their wellness. The fitness app will provide the guidelines to the individuals to meet
the health goals and also monitor the progress. It provides information about the blood
pressure parameters and provide a plan for daily workout. It assists in tracking the every foot
step to measure the distance an individual walked. It will provide personal health coaches and
educate the user about the activities of the fitness and their diet as well. It will enable the user
to monitor step count, water intake, blood pressure, workout routine and so on.

Why should it be built?
Astra Plc is launching this new application because it want to diversify its portfolio to increase
its business. Therefore, it will enable the company to be visible to all customers and make
direct communication. It assist an organisation to increase awareness for its brand among the
customers which help in increasing the market share and also get the loyal customers. The
application helps the company to engage with the customers and enable itself to overcome the
competitors. Therefore, the company should make this application so the the can be able to
enhance it sales and also provide value to the customers.

The target customers for Astra Plc will be the athletes to get them
energetic, youngster who are health conscious or go to gym and the
social media influencers who spend more time using the mobile
applications and other professional who are concerned about their
health and wellness. Thus the company can target its customers on

with the available resources so that the task can be achieved in a specific time period. It can
