Introduction
 Health information technology (HIT) is integral in organizations that
delivers healthcare services.
 HIT is regarded as a core business process treated as an input in
production process (Fontaine, Ross, Zink & Schilling, 2010).
 Inputs to HIT is regarded under a valuation paradigm.
 Establishment of value in healthcare investments has emerged as a
