WHAT ARE THE CURRENT STATUS THE CHOSEN
COMMUNITY?
 The chosen group for setting the health based promotion initiative is a
rural areas of country India. The name of the village is Payvihir.
 The current population of the village is 243, including men, women,
children and older people.
 Normally people living in the village areas suffer from much more health
issues than those living in the urban areas.
 It appears that living simply a few distances away from the health care
providers can create.
 The rural health areas are devoid from the different hospital and nursing
home facilities than the people from the urban areas get.
 The rural people also do not get the facilities of different healthcare
policies.

WHAT ARE THE HEALTHCARE ISSUES THAT THE PEOPLE ARE
SUFFERING?
a. Unavailability of hospitals
b. The less income of the people lead to less expenditure on
the medical facilities
c. The new mothers are effected the most
d. The effects to the children and the aged people
e. The disease that the people of the village suffer from

WHAT ARE THE DETERMINANATS FOR THE POOR HEALTH OR
WHAT ARE THE REASONS FOR POOR HEALTH?
 Lack of proper education.
 Low income, unemployment and poverty.
 Health literacy.
 Lack of proper buildings which may lead to lack of public safety,
which can allow access to the media and increase wellness of the
people.
 Inadequate health environment like low quality of water, low quality
of air and pollution.
 Lack of access to healthy homes. It includes different matters
regarding the costs of energy and other different issues.
