 Approximately 45.5% people of
Australia experience mental
distress.
 8.7 million people aged 16 to 85
faced mental disorder in previous
year as per the 2017 survey.
 Anxiety, depression, social
isolation and substance abuse are
the primary symptoms.
 13.9% of children aged 4 to 17
also experienced mental disorder
(Australian Institute of Health
and Welfare, 2019).
 In order to lessen this condition
health promotion is required.

 Agitation.
 Non-communicable.
 Erratic behaviour.
 Disruptive behaviour.
 Guarded behaviour
(Mosher et al. 2016).
