Introduction
Health is the ability to manage and adopt physical, mental and
social challenges throughout the life. Along with this, health
promotion enables people for enhancing their control over their
own health. This is covers the wide scope of social and
environment inferences which are designed to get benefit and
also protect individual people's health and quality of life.

Explain the effects of socio economic
influences on health
Health inequalities can be observed in the society because unequal status
are present in the current community. Therefore, the major key factor
which are influencing health are income, unemployment, etc. are the
main components which should consider as socio economic factors.

Unemployment – It is one of the major issue especially for the
development of countries. Unemployment directly impact on
individual and on economic well being of the nation. As per the
market survey, surviving the life is became expensive and
costly.
Access to education – Employment and education is fully
connected with health status, the inappropriate education can
lead a person towards unemployment and poor health or low
confidence.

Culture - Every country has specific cultures which are to be followed by
all the people. According to the culture, an individual has
responsibility to help the poor people who suffer from any diseases.
But in this case, no one support the Ramon in his last days when he
has strong cough along with cold. Due to this, he is died after some
days.

Citizenship status - It is the status which being a citizen. if a person is
the citizens of the nation so he has the right to live, work and paying
taxes to the country. As per the scenario, Roman is the beggar who is
the citizen of the country but due to no money he is treat as a
intangible thing. For this, government required to provide them all
facilities which is the right of Ramon as a nation citizen. But
sometime, he will get some benefit from the citizenship of the country
such as consume food free from any campaigns, gain benefit of
government schemes or policies and so on.

Income – While change in time and enhance in income, people
who are facing various issues after that they are satisfy their
needs of medical.
Economic recession – Sometime, change in economic policy can
hamper a person as they can not have such adequate amount of
money for spent to take care of health related issues and
problems.

Assess the relevance of government sources in
reporting on inequalities in health
UK government has formulated local and national agencies who are taken
care of people, as they are conducting surveys and designing reports
that consist of health associated data and status of people who are
survive in the United Kingdom.
Black Report 1980 – The Black Report was published in 1980 by the
Department of Health and social security in the United kingdom. As
per the scenario, if government will be aware about all kind of people
who have no money to take care of their health so Ramon can alive at
this time.

NICE – It is stands for National institute for health and care excellence
(NICE) which is an executive non departmental public body of the
Health department in the UK. It provide services to both English NHS
and Welsh NHS. In this case scenario, Ramon can not capable to
acquire such NHS quality based health care services due to lack of
money.
Health and safety Lifestyle Surveys (HALS) – This is an important
annual survey which look towards changes in the health and lifestyle
of people in all over the nation. As per the scenario, HALS does not
provide any kind of help to the Ramon who are suffered from high
cold and cough disease and at last he was died.

Discuss reasons for barriers to
accessing Healthcare
There are various types of issues or barriers which are developing
problem in rendering better health in the year of 1998, then an
inquiry has been conducted and it was done by Donald
Acheson in order to know health associated performance.
 Poverty
 Income differences
 Satisfactory knowledge about nutrition and mental
capacity

with education.
Income differences – With the continuous change of time,

social surroundings has importantly contribute in

of health. As per the scenario, Ramon has suffered from
cold and cough that directly impact on community people

necessary for an individual is to have some knowledge and
information about the consequences of cold. In the case of
Ramon, the lack of knowledge is the major reason to
access the health care services or facilities and also avoid

Conclusion
From the above mentioned presentation it can be analysed that
health promotion is important concept which can be done by
appropriate campaign for make people more aware about
different dangerous diseases. This will assist in improving their
standards of the country. It includes role of professionals in
reaching with government targets for health promotions.
