INTRODUCTION
Health care is the act of taking obstructive or essential medical procedures to improve a
person's well being. This can be done with surgery, the manage of medicine, or another
secondary in a lifestyle of people. These services are offering through a health care system made
up of medical institution and doctor. This present report is based on Right at home UK company
which is one of the world's most trusted health care organisations. In this report potential hazards
and their harm, and policies and procedures relating to health and security are covered. Along
with this risk assessment in a health or social care and possible and responses for dealing with
health care are discussed.
P1 Potential hazards and harm in a health or social care
In the social or health care, there are different types of hazards available and it can be
dangerous for the people who working in the health care and patients. In the health care some
hazards can be harm and abusive types. That are the possibility of injury, acquired infection,
psychological distress and exposure to dangers. This entire hazards will harm for the people and
employees who working in the social care (Brett Staniszewska and Suleman 2014). When in the
social care lot of people visit and they are the people who have different types of diseases. That
is the main problem of infection and it is main hazard for the people and social care. It can
explore the different types of infection and it will be very dangerous for the people. Along with
this there are some another hazards are loss of damage to possessions, inappropriate care
planning and its are the very harmful factors of the social care. Through this people can die or its
infection can damage the part of body (World Health Organization 2017). Health care should
make a perfect planning for the care and finish the entire hazards in their premise. Trough this
different types of hazards people mood can be change and their stress level can be increase, so
they should work and make a plan for this type of hazards (Makai and Nieboer 2014).
P2 Way of relating to health, safety and security of legislation, policies and procedures
In the organisation Right at home UK, there are different types of hazards and from it,
people can get the harm. So they should start the activities for health, safety and security of the
entire people who visit the health care. They should be careful about food and it should be
hygienic food. In term of legislation, they should start manual handling operation for the people
and make a report of injuries. So from this entire activities they can be know about hazards and

they will be able to finish it. Right at home UK should start the act of data protection, so data can
not be explore in the market (Coughlan and Cronin 2016). Management of health should be
maintained by the social care in the professional and appropriate way. In the health care safety is
very important factor, and for it they should take the help of civil contingencies act and make a
proper plan for the safety and security. There policies and procedure should be according to
health and safety, reporting accidents, disposal of body wastes, storage and dispensing of
medicines, fire evacuation and lone working. Other than that they should be care full about
security of premises, possession, individual, and cleaning food safety.

There are lot of risk in the health care, but some hazards are identify by the employee and
then work according to policies that ho w to reduce or finish that hazards so people will not get
the harm. In the social care they use different types of equipment. It a identification of some
hazards and harm, because some people not aware about that equipment. So it can be dangerous
for the people. So social care employee careful about this hazards and keep their equipment in
the place where people can not reach (Snape and Jacoby 2014). There are lot of security system
in the health care and lot of people are not aware from it. So its a big hazards of a social care,
because if some people not aware about the security system, then they can not able to use that
system. It can be more dangerous for the people. So they should provide a training for security
system to the entire people who visit the health care (Moss 2017). Other than that they should
hire the employee who only guide them about security system. So it hazards will not create in the
future.
P4 Possible priorities and responses in emergencies
In the social care lot of cases comes which can be emergencies case also. In the situation
of accidents, staff should be work on priorities. When they work according priorities, they should
avoid fill the form and admit the patient in the ICU. Further, they should start the treatment and
know the how much blood is fallen, so requirement of blood can be fulfil by the health care.
Entire staff should be available in that place so patient will be cover by the staff and can be safe.
Other situation is fire, in the social care some of emergencies come from fire, it can be in
premise or in the rooms (Rodrigues and Glendinning 2015). First action is, help people in out
from the premise. Then they should call on fire brigade first and then they should try to control

the situation. Some of the security factors are also available for fire in the social care, so they can
use that type of actor for control the situation.
Conclusion
In this report it has been recognised about health care, their activities, potential hazards
and their harm and legislation, policies and procedures to health, safety and security. Through
this entire report it is conclude about risk management of their hazards in the social care. Along
with this it is also conclude about possible priorities and responsibilities in the emergencies.
