INTRODUCTIONHealth, Safety and Security plays a very crucial role in the health and social care. Ahealthy individual or society will remain safe and secure which will lead them to work better in avery good environment and development of the social wellness. A healthy and safe society willwork together and will make this world idol place for living (Gostin and Wiley, 2016). Besidesthis, securing the health and safety of an individual or a society is also very important to ensurethe well being of the people and the surrounding environment. In this report, the potentialhazards will be discussed that can affect the health and social well being. Also, the effect oflegislation will be discussed with the risk assessment. Besides this the possible priorities andresponses to deal an emergency of health and security.P1. Hazard in social care settingsThere are many factors that can affect the social and health well being. The factors whichcan affect the well being will be very crucial and unavoidable by the society for its well beingThe potential hazard in the social care are:Musculoskeletal disordersworkplace violenceSlips, trips and falls at workplace as well as the other place.Chemical hazard and drug abuseTuberculosis (TB)Any sort of difference in the work place will help the individual or society to make the essentialmeasures that can affect the functionality of the individual employee or the complete team(Bowman, 2013). This will also affect the social well being and the physical, mental and socialhealth of the employee's.P2. Effect of legislation policies and proceduresThe legislation or the law will play a very crucial role in the well being of the society.The government follows the policy of the social well being which will affect the overallfunctionality of the society. Some measures taken by government are:Governments can handle the time to time health check ups so that the individuals as wellas the society as the whole can be benefited and work in a more strategic way.Development of vaccinations and life saving drugs and distributing them at low cost forthe people who can't afford them.1
