Health and Safety 2IntroductionThe purpose of this task is to provide a brief overview about the health and safety issueshappening within the healthcare organization. The task tells about the activities initiated in MayCare Home in context to the health and safety measures of the patients of the organization.Further it also tells about the mitigation which the organization shall take, more details about thetask discussed below. Task 1: Understand how health and safety legislation is implemented inthe health and social care workplace1.1My healthcare organization May Care home manages the care activities and initiatesproper communication with legislative features in the organization. Creation of healthand safety policies in the organization is an important need which shall be followedaccording to the National Health Services and Health safety executives. Further ways inwhich my organization initiates legislation are discussed below:Personal and organizational practice: while applying the communicatingpolicies of health and safety, system and procedure the organization upholds theemployees to practices rightful activities which do not harm the sentiments oremotions of any person. Like in my organization May Care, we follow the policyof training employees and counseling them so as to keep them focused. Also thepersonal needs of the employees were also focused by the company. This processsatisfied the requirements of the employees due to which they satisfied the needsof the clients as well (Reese 2015). Monitor and review: this aspect of the organization includes the check ofpractices, auditing of risks, upgrading procedures and policies and adaptingknowledge from the experiences. Mrs. May Care Homes developed theunderstanding about the need of practicing monitoring in the process so as toavoid the accidents like deaths. The trust board of the organizations held

Health and Safety 3responsible to listen to the issues of clients and provide them proper responses(Yazdani, et. al., 2015).Care Planning: care planning process provides assurance to the people that thereis an effective and efficient strategy implemented while considering the healthand safety legislations present in the environment. With regard to this concept, theindividuals and the organization can fulfill their demands by intensifying thewellbeing state of the employees, meeting their needs to enhance stability andsecurity and implanting good and authoritative principles. Care planning processin my health care organization Mrs. May Care Homes was not effective enough tocarry out the business functions easily. Dilemma: in a healthcare organization, effective communication is the key toworkplace management under which hindrance causes dilemma for theorganization. Further, in order to ensure that the work done in the managementcreates effectiveness then they must initiate activities like risk-benefit analysis,personal risk and risks related to others, use of resources an importance ofstakeholders in the company (Jespersen, and Hasle 2017). Health and safety policy: it is one of the most important policies in the processof communication of health and safety care. For the purpose of initiating suchactivities my organization developed compliances and responsible practices whichwas adhered by all people connected with the management. 1.2Few responsible acts which shall be implemented by the management of the Mrs. MayCare Homes are discussed below:Honesty and Integrity: the basic and foremost rule of the healthcare organizationis its honesty with the patients. The management of my organization shall informtheir clients of the complete information related to their treatment and illness.There shall not be any single fact which shall be hidden from them. Thus, theorganization shall maintain social trust in the environment so as to initiate easyflow of work. In Mrs. May Care Home, all the employees aim to be trustworthywith the patients and increase their level of satisfaction.
