INTRODUCTION
The health and social care is define as service provide to people by health and social care
providers to enhance the health conditions as well as mental conditions and it include the
healthcare provision, infrastructure etc. the health care is related to treatment of ill person by
medication, operation and many more ways while social care is the way of supporting and
healing of vulnerable people(Angelopoulou and Panagopoulou, 2019). The health and social care
are interlined to each other and the main aim of health and social care is improving the quality of
life of people with the help of medical care and rehabilitation and also by encouraging the
physical and psychological well being. Health and social care sector is associated with
stakeholder are either single individual or group of people which are the part of that organization
and take part in decision making and also show interest inactivity of organization. Stakeholder
play a very important part in the development of an organisation because they show positive as
well as negative influence on organization and project related to organization by providing their
decision.

The health and social care sector is related to well being of person and it is consist of
organisation which provides health care support to the people by providing medical treatment
and medical insurance to the people as well as it also include the business which help in
manufacturing the medical equipments and drugs(Chithambo and et. al., 2022). The example of
health and social care sector are hospitals, orphanage, old age home, physiotherapy, nursing
home, hotels, schools, health centres, homeless shelters, community centres etc. The health and
social care sector provides different opportunity in job or career path. The various career
associated to health and social care sector and their function which help in providing health care
supports are as follows:
Clinical roles : it includes the healthcare professionals ex: doctors, physician, specialist
who help in treating the patients as well as healthcare assistant which include the nurse,
medical staff, pharmacist who support the patients and also care the patients in hospitals
and clinical.(Gaydarov and Lomakina, 2018). Clinical roles also develop the carrier as

medical laboratory assistant in health and social care sector and it help the people in
collecting blood samples and performing different kinds of medical test which help in
identification of particular disease and their best and early treatment .
Non clinical roles: this is non medical related job in which there is no direct interaction
with patients beside of these they help in supporting and guiding the health and social
care sector by various ideas and thoughts. These are the people who help the health and
social care sector to run their organisation in very well manner and this include the
customer supporter, IT managers and marketing supporter and administrative assistance
etc. the marketing supporter help the health and social care sector or any organisation to
develop their service and increase the product and service demands among the people or
customers(Hong, 2021). Administrative assistance in health and social care department
are those people who focus on overall administration of organisation and help the patients
by keeping records of patients, booking applotments, as well as also work in finance
department of organizations.
The various organisations which is associated to health and social care sector and their
roles in career prospectives are as follows:
Hospitals: the health and social care organisation which provides the medical treatment
to patients and job as well as career prospectives related to this health and social care
sector are doctors, psychiatrist, care workers, nurse, medical staff, specialist, therapist,
physiotherapy, dentist, pharmacist etc.
Orphanage: it is the place which provides care and education to homeless child and
orphans. The career associated with this health and social care sector are counsellors and
therapist, psychologist, social workers and directors.
Old age home: It is the organisation which provides shelter, food, cloths as well as care
to old people. The main motto of this organization to provide care taking to the older
people. This organization can be runs by many trusty and public members and career
associated with this organisation is care taker, nurses, helpers and many more.
Hotels: It is the organisation related to social care sector and provides accommodations,
meals and services to peoples and tourists. The career and job which is associated to
hotels are front office supervisor, assistant manager, general manager, chef, regional
mangers and many more.
