Community analysis can be defined as a crucial part of the nursing practice that allows the health
care service users to learn about the major health issues present in a specific community along
with the strategy implemented by the community healthcare service providers. In the following
section I, as a heath care service provider, have interviewed an Indian community healthcare
service provider in order understand his roles, responsibly as well as experience associated with
healthcare issues in the mentioned community.
Interview transcript
Me: Hello Mr. X, nice to meet you. I would like to inform you that the chief reason behind
conducting this interview is to gather information about the condition of healthcare in the Indian
community.
Interviewee: Yes, I am aware of the fact. Nice too meet you.
Me: What according to you are some of the predominant health problem in India?
Interviewee: Well, the major health issues that are often experienced by us includes lung diseases
as well as disorder, heart diseases, gastrointestinal disorders and diabetes. Being a developing
country, majority of the residents of the nation, specially those who resides in the metro cities
like Mumbai and Delhi, suffers from lung disorders du to prevalent of toxic air pollutions , along
with this inapposite hygiene as well as sanitation results in gastrointestinal disorders. When it
comes to the rural areas contagious water born and infectious diseases like typhoid, infectious
hepatitis, worm infestations, measles and diarrhea are highly prevalent, thanks to lack of
unhygienic food consumption and sanitation practices. When it comes to women, Urinary tract
infection and Reproductive tract infections are found to be highly common.
Me: As a community healthcare service provider, what exactly is your role and responsibilities?
